The National FFA was founded in 1928, and has grown and evolved in many ways over the years. In 1988, the name was changed from "Future Farmers of America" in order to represent the growing diversity of agriculture. The National FFA Organization is the official name of our organization.
The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premiere leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.
The Mt. Pleasant High School Chapter of the FFA was founded in 1934. As of the 2003-2004 school year, the MPHS FFA consisted of seventy eight members, which consituted a chapter growth of ten percent.
This year in the Mt. Pleasant High School FFA Chapter there are ninty five members.
