The Pine River Environmental Project , created by the faculty and students at Alma College has been established to help the citizens in mid-Michigan understand policy making related to the regions environmental contamination.
The next meeting will be at April 18th at seven p.m. at the St.Louis City Hall.






Winona LaDuke will  be in Mt.Pleasant for the International Forum  Diverse Ways of Knowing at Central Michigan University and the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe's Seventh Generation on Oct.2,3, 2003 call 774-6403 to register.
The Mt.Pleasant Area Diversity Group will meet on Oct.8th 2003 at seven p.m. at 211 S.Main, Mt.Pleasant Michigan one door north of the Main Frame Gallery.

105.5 FM Community Radio(An affiliate of the Wesley Foundation) is coming into being. The 100 watt radio station  will have an five mile radius from the steeple of the First Presbyterian Church on 1250 Watson Rd. Mt.Pleasant, Michigan. If you can help out in this birthing, make out a check to Wesley Foundation, writing 105.5 FM Community Radio on the memo line and mail it to Wesley Foundation , 1400 S.Washington, Mt.Pleasant,MI 48858. Wesley Foundation is a 501-3-C  so your contribution will be tax deductible. Check here and in the Morning Sun and Cable Channel two for meeting times and further developments. The next meeting will be on March 23rd at four p.m. at 1250 Watson, the First Prebyterian Church.
