1997 "Sound Check"

Sound Check
was recorded in July 1997. In this recording you can hear Gene's famous "Chunk-a chunk-a" bass, Phil's dynamic voice tear microphones apart, and just how much guitar Moe can get out of a single 10 inch speaker.

A few years ago the Weaver twins, Polly and Ester, flashed their way past security and found that when they offered the guys shotguns, shooters and hooters they could stay right there with the band. Eventually more people started showing up at the sound checks and the band would usually play through the whole set. Except for Jumpin' Jack Flash. "Every time we play that song the cops show up and shut us down. I didn't think we sucked THAT bad!"
