| Each Monday students are given a Spelling Pre-test. We send home a copy of the test. The circled words are the only words from the weekly list that your child is responsible for spelling on the final test on Friday. Please have your child write his/her spelling words five times each. When more paper is needed please let me know. Please help your child study his/her words each week. |

| Please read each night with your child and record books read. All students should be reading. Let him/her read to you. Also, students should use strategies taught at school to figure out words. | |||||||
