You will have a reading test each week on Thursday on the story we have read for the week out of your "Reading Street" textbook. You should take these home every Wednesday night to reread the story and study for your test.
1. You will have a pretest on Monday of each week. Your 5 spelling words for the week will be the circled words stapled into your planner.
2. Your final test will be on Friday of each week. This is the one that I will count as a grade. Please study for this test each night during the week.
3. Some of you will have word cards to be working on at home. Please review these nightly and return to school each day.

Please be sure to sign your child's planner nightly. Also, be sure to look at the papers in your child's Friday folder. You may keep the papers. Sign the folder and return it to school on Monday.
