Ryan Brewer (guitar and vocals) was born in March, 1973. He has a brother
Reid, and three sisters, Krista, Anna, and Ashley. He lived with his
parents in Rome, GA through high school. He graduated from high school with
honors in 1991 and began attending Atlanta Christian College to study psychology.
While at college, he met his future wife, Karen Jackson. They
were married in the spring of 1994. Ryan graduated with honors from college
in the spring of 1997 and moved to Huntsville, Alabama to become a full-time
Youth Minister at Huntsville Christian Church. Ryan and Karen have two precious sons. Tristen was born November 9, 1998, and Jordan was born October 5, 2000. Ryan and his family currently live in Huntsville where he is still serving as a youth minister for his Lord. Ryan began playing guitar in 1987. Between 1991 and 1997 he was in several small-town Christian garage bands: Foundation Red, Radish, Divine Housing, and Dead Sea Tupperware to name a few. He joined a band with Robert Uhls and Darryl Moore in 1995; they played cover tunes and did a few shows locally in Huntsville. In 2000, the three teamed up again, this time with Mark, and thus began common man. |
