Darryl Moore (percussion) was born in 19 something or other into a very close-knit
family. He attended the prestigious Wetumpka School of Higher Learning where
he bred sheep to pay for his college tuition. He graduated Suma Cum Last with a
degree in 13th Floor Elevators. Darryl has a wonderful wife Celena. They
married after her graduation from Julia Tutwiler Correctional Facility in Wetumpka,
AL. They have one offspring Alex that was misplaced. However, they�re
sure they�ll find her. Like her mother, she enjoys visiting Alabama�s beautiful
correctional facilities. Darryl began his musical career playing the Juice
Harp while tending his sheep. He was forced to give it up when he lost his teeth
in an unfortunate sheep herding accident. He then began learning to blow a jug
but had to give it up because he kept blowing out his false teeth. He has since
mastered many musical instruments, including the handsaw, spoons, and the #2
washtub. He also composes Appalachian Front Porch Sonatas. Due to his mastering
of the #2 washtub and being pretty handy collecting fire kindling for the Front
Porch concerts, he decided to try to learn to play the drums. We�re optimistic
he�ll eventually learn. (What more can you expect from a drummer?
