important DirectShow Filters are also installed :
AC3 from AVI XForm [mpgaudio.ax]
AC3 Parser [mpg2splt.ax]
Dump [dump.ax]
Ligos MPEG Splitter 1.3.0.81 [mpeg2parser.ax]
Ligos MPEG Splitter 3.0.0.17 [mlmpgspl.ax]

some changes to the registry are made :
The Stereo-Modi of the Radium MP3-Codecs are changed, so that the bitrates above 192 KBit/s are encoded in truly Stereo (not Joint Stereo).
MP3-Files and AVI's with MP3-Audio will be played with the Radium (Fraunhofer)-Codec, because this will result in the best quality.
(Therefor the reg6.reg deaktivates an installed XING-Audio-Codec.[this feature is now turned off])

----------------

If there is a file called 'L3codecp.acm' in c:\Windows\System, rename it to 'L3codecp.acm.bak' or delete it.

If there is a file called 'mpg4dmod.dll' in c:\Windows\System, rename it to 'mpg4dmod.dll.bak' or delete it. If you don't do so, the Slider in the Playback-Filter doesn't funktion.

If you use an avi which is encoded with the Scene-Detection-Patch, it can happen that the Slider in the Playback-Filter is resettet to Zero. In this case you can set te slider back to 3 or higher manually.

If you want to encode an avi more than once you must do that with the same codec (or you must use a higher version of the codec, but never use an older codec as you have used for encoding the first time).
If you use an older version of the codec to encode the avi once again, you get violet pulsating colour distortion.

Don't use DirectX 8 if you want encode, because this might cause some errors, better use DirectX 7.

------------------
Installation :
1. Direct X6 Media
2. MS Media Player 6.4 (don't use Media Player 7)
3. Windows Media Encoder (optional)
4. Windows Media Tools 4.1 (optional)
5. Soft-DVD-Player (WinDVD, Cinemaster and PowerDVD 3.0 are good)
6. Install.exe of my Codec- and Filter-Pack
6a. To work properly the reg6.reg must be installed at the end of installation procedure
    (AFTER the divx.inf has finished).
Therefor you must wait a few seconds bevor you can apply the messagebox of the Registry-Editor.
(7. restart your Computer)
------------------

Deinstallation :
1. Systemsteuerung, Software, DivX-Tsunami-Pack-3
2. then start 'cleaner.bat'
this will delete all filter and codecs.
If you do so you can't playback MP3 or other Medi- Files anymore.
So be carefull. Normally it is not needed to deinstall these Filters.
