This was started off by Lino A. Tolentino early this year as a two page website and a “jump off” point for other “homepages” of those who belonged to this class.
This Website was specifically created and is exclusive only for the graduates and alumni of the Technical High School class 1978 of Makati Polytechnic Community College.
We were fortunate to have seen this technology happening in our lifetime --- the age of Information Technology, Computers & the Internet! Without which this website won't be even thought of on the first place, and emailing would be another fiction in some sci-fi novel. The wave of changes happening in our life has so dramatically shifted to this technology, that almost every facet of of our lives are in one way affected by it.
It is also through this medium that we can now get in touch with anybody from anywhere across the globe by a click of the mouse. Distance and boundaries no longer exist getting in touch with friends, relatives, acquaintances and associates. Now we can forge new ties and even rekindle old ones, especially with people whom we have not seen for a long, long time. It is on this very note that we endeavored to come up with this website and improve it as we go along, and hopefully believing that this will somehow bridge the gap and fill the void between long lost friends.
The idea of designing and further developing this webite was later on picked up by Vic T. Manzanal, who is into website design and development himself. He is now the designated Webmaster and Administrator for this site.
We hope to accumulate enough photos, write-ups and other related materials to be posted here for posterity. This is a labor of love and is maintained for free out of affection for friends and classmates who has, in one way or another, been part of our growing years and fond memories.
