These Notes were taken out of a book called Service Record. A diary given to him in while in training in Mass.  Filled out in England, while recooperating from his wounds.... since this information was not allowed to be written while in combat..Book was given to him with compliments from
The  Eagle Tribune, Lawrence Massachusettes. All info came from this and his disharge papers(WD AGO form 53-55 (now known as DDfrom214). This is a little dedication to My Dad and his time in WWII
He died of a heart attack on 03OCT60 when i was 5yrs  10 mnth old. I have a slight memory of him which will last me my lifetime. Would like to pass on his memory to others So we all will never forget what people like my dad and others did During wartime then and now . Also during the War i have to mention that my Mother worked for DOD making the following planes: B24 Bomber, F4U Corsair, P47 Thnderbolt during WW2
