---Mr. Soloman Ammons died at his home in Coalville yesterday at half past 12o'clock, after an illness of several years duration. The deceased was 79 years of age at the time of his death and leaves a wife and three children to mourn his taking away The children are: Mrs. Caleb Bickerton, Mrs Albert Ballard and Nicholas Ammons, all of this city. The funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence and the interment was made in Moon's cemetery.

Young Man Passed Away at Home of Father, Caleb Bickerton--Born in 1875.
George S. Bickerton, who had been ill for seven months with lung trouble, died at noon yesterday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs Caleb Bickerton, 508 East La Rue street. The decedent was born October 11, 1875, in this city and here spent all of his life.  He was a bartender just prior to his late illness. Besides his parent there are surviving two brothers---John, at home, and William J. of Roslyn, Wash.
The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the family residence; interment
in Moon's cemetery.

---Mrs. Sarah Bullard, wife of Albert Bullard, died at 10 o'clock last evening at her home near old No. 3, after an illness of three months with malaria fever and other troubles. She was about 40 years of age, and besides her husband, five children---the oldest 14 years old---survive her. Deceased was a sister of Mrs. Caleb Bickerton.

LIVED IN LOCALITY IN PIONEER DAYS
Mrs. Elizabeth Ammons of Coalville Passed Away at Early Hour Today

  Mrs. Elizabeth Ammons died at 8 o'clock this morning at the advanced age of ninety-seven years. Her death occured from infirmities of old age.  The funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock on Wednesday afternoon at the residence in Coalvile and the remains will be buried in
the Moon cemetery.
  Mrs. Ammons was born in Green county, Pa., June 16,1817.  Her husband died several years ago in this locality.  A son and one daughter survive, Nicholas and Mrs. Caleb Bickerton both residents in this locality.
   The decedent was probably the oldest resident in this section being here long before Hardscrabble was even thought of.
