The digital world is changing writing, thinking, reading, learning, thinking, and my life. For years now it has been every where becoming a part of me and what I do in life, as well as people around the world. To me the internet is a constant flow of produced, and reproduced knowledge from so many people posting up so many ideas, and information from where ever they are. It connects people anywhere in the world with any digital item making it more convenient to everyone to say whatever it is they choose to say. No one controls it or can regulate it therefore making it a stream of free expression. The digital world has literally crept into my life, and everyone else who is exposed to it and became who we are. We are able to receive any amount of information for whatever means, and transform it faster than if there was no computers at all.
The digital world is why we get around so fast, why we eat the way we do, and the rate we eat at. It speeds up the process of accomplishing my goal enabling me to move to the next task I had planned faster than doing it myself. It does effect us because everyone is aware of it, so if a child is online looking at things made for adults it changes the way he see the world at a young age. It is also a business this is how we make money, and without it people would lose lives. It is the proof that kids are doing work in school because millions of people around the world can see the work the people do on their home work, or biographies, and etc. I honestly believe we learn more on the internet than we can from going through school, not only that but everyone refers to the internet for everything anyway.
The class and I were reading an article call "Panel: Rethink School" and it talks about reconsidering the way school are set up. A new idea on how school should be ran come up, and proved to be very affective. Topics like rearranging the physical environment of the class to improve test score came to be successful as well. A study show in the article that the test score at Georgetown University had increased by eleven percent because of the change in the classes physical environment. The idea of a more flexible learning space for students makes it easier for teachers as well.In conclusion the digital world is really an alternate world we made up for our convenience. It makes us one being weather we know it or not, and has brought two worlds together for change.
