Unconditional love is not just a passion or positive emoton at all. It is a complete merging of all emotions, positive and negative. It has no bounderies, no limitations and no opposition. It is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, for it embraces everyone and equally. "Bitterness imprisons life,.....love releases it Bitterness paralyses life,.......love empowers it. Bitterness sours life,.............love sweetens it. Bitterness sickens life,..........love heals it. Bitterness blinds life, ...........love anoints its eyes." These words from Harry Emerson Fosdick may guide us to change our outlook in life at the time when our heart is full of bitterness and hatred. By taking his advice we might experience the wisdom and sacred healing that unconditional love offers at evry moment. I believe we all possess the ability to reach this state of open heartedness. Experience the true meaning of Valentine's Day, not only today but also everyday!!! Here is the process: 1- Write the date, the problem and the negative emotion you have in your heart. (social, financial, relationships, etc) 2- Opposite every negative emotion, write positive one you can think of about the person or the problem. 3- Insert the list in your Bible and pray for it everyday. Make a 'shower of love' prayer. 4- At night, every time you close your eyes in sleep, be thankful for the open hearted love you have experienced. 5- Make thank you letter to people who have helped you become who you are today. Continue this thankfulness until your heart opens and you feel a state of unconditional love. Then be silent and listen for your heart's andsoul's inner voices and guidance. GOOD LUCK!!!
