| A Thank You Poem I want to say thanks for the times you made me smile To the times you made me forget my problems for a while To the support you've given me when i'm afraid to try To the moral booster, to your company when you hear my sighs. Thank you for listening to my joys, to my complaints When others turned their backs, still you remained Thanks for letting me see myself as a special individual I might not be that "special" but you made ma feel as if I really am. Thank you for giving me the freedom to be silent To let me compose myself, to fantasize, to think Thank you for helping me realize my dreams in life You make me think ahead, try new new things, strive. Thank you for making me stronger, braver, wiser You helped me understand myself and made me see things clearer Thank you for your trust and confidence in me But most of all, thank you for letting me be the "real" me.... |
