Hanging proudly in the main entrance hall is a conservation significance certificate, issued by Mr Ben Ngubane (the Premier for KwaZulu Natal).

This certifies that the Natal Parks Board has found Moyeni Park to include natural features and objects which significantly contribute to the preservation of our country's natural diversity. It goes on to state that the KwaZulu Natal provincial government formally recognises the land owner's commitment and support of nature conservation in this region.

This certificate was issued on the 27th of February 1998.
