Roughing it in our 2004 Dutchmen 19T Camper.

This is the Interior looking towards the front of the camper.  Often called a 'hybrid' , it is sort of a cross between a travel trailer and pop up.  You get all the features of a travel trailer, which is a full kitchen and bathroom, couch, etc.  and it has tent beds on the front and back which make it seem quite roomy inside.  The advantages to this sort of trailer is that it is short and light, making it easier to tow and more affordable-but it gets big when you set it up.
Michelle, who loves to cook awesome meals, loves having a full kitchen on our weekend trips.  This is looking toward the back of the trailer, as you can see, it has a sink, oven and stove, microwave, and a refrigerater and freezer to the right, and the bathroom is the room behind that.  It has a small shower/tub, a sink and a toilet.  The other bed is behind that door and the outside door by it.
Spring is in the air finally!!  We got our camper out towards the end of February and although still a little cool, it was fun to get it back out and dewinterize it.  Here we are at Basswood RV Resort in Platte City MO.  We were able to purchase a 1994 Suburban 4x4 350, much better suited for towing than the Explorer was.  It pulls like a dream now and hopefully we can make better time on our weekend getaways.   Thanks for veiwing our toy, please drop us a note.

Below This is what got us hooked on camping, our first camper we bought in 2001, a 1976 Starcraft popup.  We bought it for $400, and totally repainted inside, added a new vynil floor, and an window AC unit through the back wall.  What a blast we had!  Notice the board proping the back corner up...we finally passed it on since it needed much further repair.
