Because Calories Don't Count
A Cheesecake Factory story...
One night during the fall semester of my Sophomore year, Katie and I realized that we were missing Kelsey somethin' fierce.  The three of us consequently planned a roommate dinner to take place the last week of classes.  That cold, snowy Wednesday night we climbed into Kelsey's car with no definite destination.  One thing, however, was clear.  Any place in Delaware was totally out of the question.
As Cheesecake Factory called to us, we pulled into Easton.  I put our name in as Katie and Kelsey found a great parking spot nearby.  As the Katie and Kelsey were looking at Cheesecake, Eric Potthoff and his friend from Denison walked by.  It's funny how I always see someone I know when I'm there.  Anyway, we waited the 35-50 minutes until we were called.  Yeah, it was definitely on the 50 end of that.  When our buzzer went gave it to this blonde kid who obviously got off on having the power to make people wait.  We stood around and watched my name on the computer screen when we suddenly saw it disappear.  Five minutes later we still weren't seated so we asked someone, and apparently we'd been lost in the shuffle.  So we were seated and then came the bread.  We annihilated it.  Both loaves in less than a minute, I'd say.  In order to keep our enthusiasm for cheesecake, we all got salads.  There's nothing worse than having a beautiful piece of cheesecake in front of you and being too full too eat it.  So after some great conversation over our salads, some joking, some story-sharing and some reminiscing, we ordered our cheesecake.  The generous girls we are, we all decided collectively on 3 cheesecakes so that we all would be happy with all 3.  Katie got Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Kelsey got cherry, and I got that which is becoming my usual: Chocolate Raspberry Truffle.
We all got back in the car and drove home...and I think I can accurately speak for all of us that it was one of the best nights ever.  It was so much like last year.  We were all together, just being ourselves and enjoying each other's company.  I love you, girls!
