Freddy Krueger was the bad guy in this series of movies.   Below you will find information about that movie and my critique - keep in mind this is my opinion only.  Also I have just included the main characters in my cast - who remembers the others anyway!

Synopsis

For it's time, it's an excellent movie.  Scared the heck out of me back when it first came out.  I'm only going to review the first one of the series due to my feelings of it's just being repeated over and over and over again just with different actors.  Although Freddy does develope a sense of humor as the saga's go on.  This one however starts out with little Nancy, who discovers everytime she goes to sleep bad things happen - enter a burnt up psychopath with a razor-sharp pronged glove on his right hand.  All teenagers better fear him or else they'll be killed in their sleep  - look out for Johnny Depp as her boyfriend who oddily enough wasn't much of a *stayer* in the movie *snicker*.   I think they are up to about Part 7 currently, but I got sick of them so can't preview them.
