Prince Vlad Dracula is this movies bad guy. Below you will find information about that movie and my critique - keep in mind this is my opinion only. Also I have just included the main characters in my cast - who remembers the others anyway! -=-Dracula (1992)-=- Directed by:
Synopsis One of my all-time favorite movies. The plot goes like this: Based closely on Bram Stoker's classic novel of the same name, a young lawyer (Jonathan) is assigned to a gloomy village far away in the mists of eastern Europe to deal with Vlad Dracula a new and hopefully lucrative client. The client turns out to be the undead vampire Dracula, who imprisions Jonathan, then travels to London, inspired by a photograph of Jonathan's fiancé, Mina - the reason for this is he lost his love, Elisabeta, long ago who was the spitting image of Mina. In Britain, Dracula begins a reign of seduction on Mina, and terror on her best friend Lucy. Dr Van Helsing is bought in by Lucy's fiancé as they don't know what is wrong with her. Will Dracula get his Elisabeta back, will Lucy become one of the undead, or will Jonathan save the day? Excellent performances by Keanu and Sir Anthony Hopkins (it's always a pleasure to watch a movie with Hopkins in it). Rated: 9.8/10
Here's a couple of my favorite quotes from the movie: "Vlad Dracula: The luckiest man in the world is he who finds true love". "Van Helsing: She lives beyond the grace of God. She is "Vampyr", "Nosferatu". These creatures do not die like the bee after a first sting, but instead grow strong once infected by another Nosferatu. My friends we fight not one beast but legions living age after age after age, feeding off of the blood of the living". Doctor Jack Seward: You want to autopsy Lucy? If you are after any waves from the movie, I have some at my vampire site you can access directly here.
