Catherine Tramell was the femme fatale  in this movie.   Below you will find information about that movie and my critique - keep in mind this is my opinion only.  Also I have just included the main characters in my cast - who remembers the others anyway!

Synopsis

Great movie, although Michael Douglas does seem to have a thing for playing unfaithful *victims* in his movies (sounds like his real-life too).  The movie plot is about the murder of a nightclub owner, whose ex-girlfriend, Catherine Tramell,  is a very attractive novelist. Detective Nick Curran is assigned to the case.  With his history of drug abuse and alcoholism he is the perfect person to be manipulated, which he is the entire movie! Police psychiatrist Beth (who happens to be Nick's ex-girlfriend) is brought in on the case when it is discovered that the murder was copied directly from one of Catherine's novels. Nick starts to get too involved - if you like rough sex this movie is for you.  S & M fans eat your heart out.
