Synopsis

Thomas Anderson is a pasty-faced computer geek who thinks it is 1999 until he is contacted by Morpheus who gives him the opportunity to find out the truth, amidst my screams of "For the love of God and all things holy, take the blue pill". Of course he doesn't listen to my screams of anguish and continues on and takes the red pill, whereupon he discovers the world has been trashed and taken over by advanced artificial intelligence machines who are growing humans for their own energy supply. To keep the humans satisfied, they have created a false version of the 20th century. Their only hope is to find *The One*, which Morpheus thinks is Anderson. Chased by Agents who take on the form of humans, they struggle to regain control of the world.
