| What Mike Says: OK I know most of my readers don't like Horror...Well get over it!! I do!! Just kidding. Well I am a die hard fan of Friday the 13th and this is why....It has a great story. For those of you don't really know the story let me give some insight. This mother Pamela Voorhees who lost her son at a camp. Her son was retarded and needed watching every sec...well The boy drowned because the counselors were to busy doing drugs and having sex...while Jason was drowning and died.. His mother lost it from then on..She took up witchcraft to try to bring Jason back...but It didn't work..Or did it!! Well anyway she thinks Jason is dead and decides to take revenge on the camp by killing everyone and setting the camp on fire. Her son supposedly got out of the water because they never found his body...and has been "Living" in the woods. OK enough of the back story now to the movie. That was a little of the story they never told you in the film. The film starts out 15 or so years later. This man buys the camp and wants to open it again. Well when they do, the killing starts up again. To make this short I'll jump to the end...needless to say everyone is dead!! except this one girl who cuts the killers head off...It so happens to be Jason's mom who she kill and .her head rolls off into lake.....They say that Jason saw his mom die so Jason being not really alive and not really dead either comes back for revenge of his dead mother!! It's a great movie..but Jason really isn't in it...until then end...It kept me wondering who the killer was...Oh and by the way...there is no Gore or blood in this movie..it's more of a thriller then anything else....most of the Friday the 13th movies are. I liked this move but it doesn't compare to the other movies in the series..So I have to give a good remediation but not a great one!!...This is the DVD set you must own to get all of the 8 movies at once ....there are 11 so far Jason Goes to Hell, Jason X and Freddy Vs, Jason Which are not in the set The reason is a different company bought the rights to the Friday the 13th after part VIII so that's why 3 of the movies are not in the box set!! .....Get the box set now!! Don't mess with Jason's mommy......or her son will kill you!!..well like mother like son I guess lol......Jason Rules!! Chhhhhh Haaaaaaa Chhhhhhh Haaaaaaaa!! |
