A serial killer on the loose....

Former FBI agent, Joel Campbell quit his job for a reason. The main one was to get away from the path of serial killer, David Allen Griffin because he killed someone close to him. He knows everything about Griffin except for his true identity. He even knows the way he kills. He watches his victim many days in advance and when the time is right, he goes into their house to wait for them to come in so he and kill her by strangling her with piano wire. He dances with the victim. If she passes out, he revives her over and over again. Things start to begin again when there is a murder in Joel's building. After he finally gets to go to his apartment, he discovers that he has photos of the victim as well as photos of previous victims that had been killed recently. They get prints on the photos at the FBI but Joel assures them that they won't be of the killer. Later that night, Griffin places a phone call to Joel. He says each day he will send a picture to him and then he will have until 9:00 that night to find the victim or she dies. After this, Joel makes a daring decision: he asks for his job back in the FBI so he can help catch Griffin this time. He can't lose this time or more young women will lose their lives.......

This is a great edge-of-your seat thriller. Griffin is the serial killer of all serial killers in that he knows and sees everything about everyone. He watches and learns just like the title of the movie suggests. I just would have thought that he would have chosen people that were in the national spotlight or something. You know, someone that the public might actually miss. However, he only chooses "loner" girls without a lot of family around to miss them. Honestly, this is the best Keanu Reeves role I have ever seen him in. It is the first time he doesn't have that "Dude!" accent from Bill and Ted that seemed to haunt him. His voice was deep and sexy for a serial killer!:) That was probably what drew the girls in some cases. In watching it, the time seemed to pass quickly and you didn't even realize when the movie finally ended. All I can say about the ending is that it was just. My favorite part was when Griffin selected the first victim after contacting Joel: a girl at a photo store. Ellie just seemed so nice and so pure that you hated to see something happen to her. This is a great movie and is not one to be missed. I recommend this flick if you want an intense suspense movie!
