Eddie Valiant, now a drunk, is hired by RK Maroon of Maroon Cartoons to investigate Roger Rabbit, a toon,'s wife Jessica. Roger can't seem to keep his mind on his work and the studio thinks that Jessica is cheating on him. Eddie is reluctant because a toon killed his brother and he was never caught but for a hefty fee, he takes the case. He then begins to investigate Jessica and it looks like Jessica is guilty of infidelity when he catches her with gag device mogul, Marvin Acme. He takes pictures and then shows the pictures to Roger who goes crazy and swear they will be together no matter what. When Marvin Acme turns up dead, Roger is the only suspect and he goes to Eddie for help. Eddie is not sure if he believes him but finally agrees to help him. But who would want to frame Roger Rabbit and why?

I actually went on a date to see this film when it first came out. I loved it! The first thing I thought was so funny was the brand of the oven in the first Baby Herman cartoon: Hotternell Oven. That was really cute. I also liked the Baby Herman character close to most of all. A baby smoking a stogie! But my absolute favorite was the cameo by Yosemite Sam, "My biscuits are burnin'!" Sam is my favorite Warner Brothers cartoon.

Not much more to really say about this movie because it is self explanatory. The comedy and the drama was there mixed with animation. I think it could have used a little more story was all. Again because of some of the innuendos suggested, I think this film should have been PG-13.
