"Never know where the MIB is at....."

When the movie begins, the audience is introduced to what the Men in Black are and they get to see them in action. The action then turns to a New York cop, James Edwards, who is in pursuit of a criminal that he soon finds is not human. He goes back to the police station and begins to tell his story of the perp he had been chasing and no one believes him. K and the MIB soon learn about what Edwards knows and he goes there to take care of that memory. Meanwhile, a bug lands on planet Earth disguised in a farmer's body and looking for the galaxy. The MIB recognized the talent in Edwards and he is offered a position with the secret society guardians of the Earth and space. He accepts and leaves everything about his old life behind and becomes Agent J with the MIB. J comes in cocky but K is able to take him down a notch. His first case with K is to find out why an alien named Reggie is out of his designated range and they accomplish their mission and find out why. All of the aliens are scared because of the bug and what could happen if he gains possession of the galaxy. The Arquillian aliens are in space threatening Earth if the galaxy is not returned to them so they do not have much time to find it. But where could the galaxy be? Where would its protector have hidden it?

I totally loved this movie! I went and saw it on the big screen when it first came out. Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are both such talented actors that I could not see anything else about their roles that tbey could have done better. I loved Will Smith's touch to this movie, always adding in his witty remarks. The special effects were outstanding in this movie and I think besides the acting, the effects were just as important. One of my favorite parts is when Agent J is delivering an alien baby. Also, when the Bug takes over Edgar's body and he comes inside to his wife, that is pretty incredible how he looks. My absolute favorite special effects scene in this movie is when J meets Jack Jeebs for the first time and he does not know his head will regenerate. When it does, I thought that was so cool.

I really can not choose a favorite character or actor in this movie because everyone was so great. I can't think of anything I would change about this film. It had comedy, action, and sci-fi. A winning combination!
