Oh to be a kid again!

The movie reintroduces the audience to the views of the young children known as the Little Rascals. The boys are involved in a club called the Heman Woman Haters club and believe that woman are scum. All except Alfalfa who is madly in love with Darla. He would do anything for Darla even at such a young age. Spanky, the President of the club, vows that he will make that change after Alfalfa is chosen to drive their boxcar racer and he does not show up at that meeting because of his girlfriend. Darla and Alfalfa are supposed to sing together in the upcoming talent show until Darla meets new rich kid on the block Waldo Johnston. After Spanky ruins a picnic with Alfalfa and Darla and the club house burns down because of it, Alfalfa feels like the world is against him. Yet, all he can think about is getting Darla back. Can he do that before the big race? Will he win her back with his singing as he has always dazzled her with?

This was a great remake of this movie. The kids they got to portray the classic characters were adorable! I also liked how the big celebrities were laced into the script. The ironic thing is that most little kids are a lot like these little rascals and that is what makes it so funny to me.

A far as the characters go, I think my favorite was Spanky. He was the cutest kid on the set folllowed by Darla. All of the scenes were so great, it is hard to pick just one as my favorite. I think one of them would have to be when Spanky, Alfalfa, and the frog mess up the ballet recital. That kept me in stitches. In fact, the whole ballet recital did. Overall, the ending did it to me when the club changed its entry rules and the ultimate evils Butch and Woim got exactly what was coming to them.

Overall, this is a fun film for the whole family. Tons of fun!
