A story about a boy and his hand........

Anton Tobias is probably the laziest boy in the town of Boland. He's a stoner, he never goes to school, and he watches Molly, the girl he has a crush on alot. His parents are aggravated with him because he never helps to do anything around the house. He depends solely on his parents for food and a roof over his head and does not even have a job. Then everything starts to change. His parents turn up missing. He is left to his own devices so he goes grocery shopping and tries to live on his own. He does pretty well until he discovers his parents bodies in the house. After his best friends, Mick and Pnub, come over, they discover that there is a piece of material in one of the corpses hands that matches a torn place on Anton's shirt. They also find "Ant" written in blood and the left ears of the Feldstein twins that were killed at the Burger Jungle earlier that week. It turns out, Anton is the killer! Or at least that is what he thinks. After his friends discover this, they start to call 911, but Anton kills Mick by jabbing a broken bottle through his head and Pnub by sailing a saw blade through the air thus cutting his head off. Surprisingly, Anton goes straight to the television, even with all of the corpses in the house. He then chases his cat outside trying to catch it because his evil hand threw it out of the window. He discovers that something is terribly wrong with his hand and he thinks it may be possessed.

Anton then proceeds to go outside and bury the bodies. His parents stay in the ground, but his friends come back to life as zombies. After all of this weird stuff starts happening, Anton seeks out the neighbor Randy. He thinks Randy may know something about evil or Satanism because he listens to Satanic bands. But Randy says it's just music and he really does not know anything about Satan. Anton tells him how his hand seems to do thinkgs he does not want it to do and Randy tells him to get a hobby because "idle hands are the devil's playground". So Anton takes up his mother's knitting, which Mick and Pnub think is very weird. But it doesn't help because he kills two police officers with the knitting needles.

Anton then decides that something must be done to rid himself of his evil hand. He decides that he should cut it off. He tries several ways and then decides on a meat cleaver, which seems to do the trick. But then after the hand is cut off, it leaves him a message, "She's mine". It wants his girlfriend, Molly! All the while Anton is trying to get to the dance to save money, Druidic priestess, Debi LeCure, is trying to reach the hand and destroy the host (Anton) before it can do anymore damage. Little does she know that he has cut his hand off. Who will get to the dance first? Anton or Debi? Will Anton make it to Molly in time? Will Mick and Pnub be able to help? You'll have to watch and find out.

Overall, this movie was just the right mix of horror with comedy. There were a few problems though that mainly dealt with inconsistency. One such scene was after Mick had come back from the dead. He had been buried in the black dirt in Anton's backyard. He comes back and he stays filthy for half of the movie. It never shows him cleaning himself up. Then after Anton cuts his hand off and Mick tells him that he will be fine and they are going to get a first aid kit from Pnub's house, Mick's face is clean. Also, when Anton cuts his hand off, there is hardly any blood. If he in fact had cut his hand off, there probably would have been more blood. I guess I am being picky, but a movie should be consistent, you know. Even though the horror was really good and the comedy made me laugh, I must give this movie a 7 because of the inconsistencies!
