"Schneider as a gigalo? Come on...."

Schneider is nothing more than a fish and aquarium caretaker at the beginning of this film. He gets fired from several jobs, one in which he was probably making good money and a sick fish changes his life forever. A male gigalo invites Deuce to stay in his house and take care of his fish, but no car, no phone, and no visitors. He ends up wrecking the gigalo's expensive apartment and a 6000.00 fish tank for which he has no money to replace. He tries to be a gigalo afer he learns that the man he is fish sitting for is one. His own attempts failed. However, he then meets the man's pimp and he is now a manho for short. He fixes him up with all kinds of strange women but the relationships are not anything like you expect. He has a way of playing board games and other things to make the women feel special without exploiting them. But will he earn enough money in time and what happens when he falls in love with one of his "janes"?

Despite the fact that it sounds like there is not much to this movie, there really is. It is a hilarious comedy, but it only becomes that way really after Deuce starts dating the scheduled women. I think my favorite character was the woman with Tourette's Syndrome who could not go anywhere because she would say vulgar and inappropriate things in the worst places. But Deuce manages to even find a place to take her where she is comfortable and where people appreciate her comments. Even though it was a comedy, it had a good message behind it. Deuce treated all of these ladies like they were something special even though the world did not. The world needs to take a note from this movie. Even the girl that Deuce liked had a major flaw and he did not care. That was what I really liked about this movie.

Downfalls? Seeing Schneider in tiny underwear. That was probably the worst one. At the beginning, the scenes were not so funny until much later so that kind of disappointed me. The later scenes were better but really did not make up for it any. Therefore, I have to give this movie a rating of.....

I rate this movie: 7
