A many taled Stephen King treasure! The movie begins with a father chiding his son and even abusing him because he is reading horror comics. The boy is angry and vows revenge on his father and the creepshow mascot ghost appears outside of his window and the tales of horror begin! The first tale is of a relative who killed her father on father's day. After that, she only visits his grave on father's day, the day she killed him. Will he come back and take care of her and her family once and for all or will he rest in peace? The second tale is one of a meteor that lame-o farmer, Jordy Verrell finds after it crashes in his backyard. He plans to earn money from it by selling it to the college. He touches it and keeps putting his contaminated fingers in his mouth. Can this meteor save his life or will it send him to a "leafy" death? The third is a tale of a beach. Richard is about to be left by his beloved wife Rebecca so she can be with her lover Sam Wentworth. Richard is very possessive and will do anything to keep what he believes rightfully belongs to him. This includes sending his wife Rebecca and her lover Sam to a watery grave. But can he do it and get away with it? The fourth story is one of a crate and a pitiful man who is constantly put down by his wife, Billie. He dreams of getting rid of her so he can have a normal life. When he discovers a murdering beast inside of a crate at the school where he works, he plans to use the creature to get rid of his troublesome wife. Will he succeed? The fifth story is a man so afraid of germs and bugs that he lives in a white room and sprays anything that moves. Until the bugs decide to get him!

This is truly one of my favorite stephen king movies! Sometimes I want to watch a horror movie with multiple stories and if you are in the mood for one of those, this is your movie! All of the stories are great but two rate as my favorite! One is the father's day one. I, for one, was glad to see the evil dad come back and get those ungrateful people who were all just after his money. he had been right all along and he deserved "his cake". My absolute favorite story of all was "Something to tide you over". I loved Leslie Nielsen who never wanted to give up what he thought was his, even though he is the epitome of everything I hate in a man. He went as far as he had to to keep what was his but he ended up paying for it in the end.

One again, another stephen king great that could not be improved upon!

I rate this film: 10
