Don't be scared! There's nothing to this!

Yet another dreary outing for this thouroughly worn movie! Several friends are going out into nowhere to spread their friend, Kirk's ashes. Tyrus, Greg, Allison, and Kir all ride seperately from Lazlo and his girlfriend. Lazlo leaves his plastic blow up dolls along the way to point the way in which Greg and the others are to go and they follow them. However, Greg crashes the car and they lose Kirk's ashes as they are all over Kir who freaks out. They go into town to look for help. No one claims to have seen Lazlo and they are told the town tow truck is in repairs. The cops suggest they get out of town after they question the town's strange smell. They tell them about the strange kids and "he who walks behind the rows". They miss the bus and stay in an abandoned house. After they eat, they learn from Allison that Kirk did not die in an accident, he committed suicide. Kir was his girlfriend and she is really torn up about it. Ty stays with her that night when she asks him to and they sleep together. Meanwhile, Allison talks about her runaway brother with Greg. Greg comforts Allison. After hearing a noise and inspecting it, they find Lazlo and his girlfriend's dead bodies. After their discovery, the cops act like they had something to do with it and send them on their way telling them to make sure they get on the 8am bus. Unfortunately they miss it. Allison insists on staying and Greg says he will stay with her. Ty reluctantly stays as well as Kir.Allison thinks her brother is in the town and in with that group of kids. She must know more. But will what she know kill her?

Sound kind of boring? Probably because it was. The only really high point in this movie is that Greg Vaughan starred in it. I can't even choose a favorite scene because I did not have one. I did think it was interesting to actually get to see Kane Hodder's true face as he was the one who portrayed the bartender in the town. I did enjoy that too because it cured my curiosity. There did not seem to be as much to do with magic and evil as some of the previous versions have been. It just seemed more like a killer cult. I was not surprised by anything these characters did because they seemed so predictable. From the beginning, you could tell that Ty had feelings for Kir. So you were not surprised when he jumped at the chance to sleep with her. Kir from the beginning was very weak and you could tell so it was no shock when she too joined the cult. Pretty much through this movie I was bored. So if you haven't seen it yet, save yourself some money and time, don't.
