A half-dead looking coroner leads you through three monstrous stories of corpses in the morgue. The first is called "The Gas Station". Alex, a college student, has taken a new job. She is working as a gas station attendant on the graveyard shift. The attendant Bill gives her his number and tells her to call if she has any trouble, because after all, there is a killer on the loose. Strange people come in and out for most of the night. Then Alex sees some movement in the garage. Someone is in there that should not be. Is it the killer? The second story is simply entitled "Hair". A balding man is losing his self-confidence even though his girlfriend assures him he is still sexy. She sends him to her hair dresser that can maybe make the hair that he has look better, which it does. But he still does not think so. He and his girl end up in an argument and then he sees a hair replacement commercial on television. They said all they do is put a solution on his scalp and he will wake up with hair. It seems too good to be true when he does wake up with hair. But what price will he have to pay to look good? The last story we are introduced is called "The Eye". Brent, a baseball player on his way up to the Major League, has a car accident that puts out one of his eyes. He is presented with a desireable procedure so he can still play baseball: a donor eye. When he gets home, he has terrible headaches and starts hallucinating. It seems that whoever the eye came from is trying to take over his mind and life. What can he do to stop it?

I saw this when it first appeared on Showtime and I was dazzled as a horror movie fanatic. It has gruesomeness! It had horror! It had great actors! It had incredible special effects! It had...well, let's just say it had everything you could hope for in a great horror movie. Plus a lot of the horror greats made guest appearances like Roger Corman, Tobe Hooper, Clive Barker, John Carpenter, Sam Raimi. The only one really missing was Stephen King!

Out of all of the stories, I think I liked the one about "The Eye" the best. It could be because I have a small "thing" for Mark Hamill....but I definitely thought it was the best. He lost the eye in a horrific way and then was given a new one just a few days after the accident. It was freaky, even his wife thought so, that the eye was a different color than his own. Then when we start seeing the donor's memories through the eye in Brent's head, it was totally revealing and incredible. The things this person that had the eye before him did was atrocious. Then Brent starts trying to do to his wife Cathy what this person did to the women in his life and things begin to get out of control.

Overall, I can't say this movie had any downfalls. It is truly one of my favorites.
