The Ghost With the Most!

To me and probably many other people who have seen the film "Beetlejuice", it is truly a classic. Michael Keaton is an extremely talented actor, but he truly shines in this role as the "afterlife's bio-exorcist". I watched this movie when I was very young also and it has been one of my favorites for years. Haven't seen it yet? Read on!

Adam and Barbara Maitland are newly married and have just bought the house of their dreams. They love the house so much that they decide to spend their honeymoon there fixing it up. While on a short trip to town, Adam and Barbara wreck the car when they go over the side of a bridge into the water below. They wake up and they are back in the house but they notice some things are different. Before long, they realize that they did not survive the crash and now are trapped inside of the house they love so much. For a while they are able to live in the house as ghosts and in peace. But shortly afterwards, Jane Butterfield, a woman that has been trying to sell the house out from under them since before they died, sells their house to a family from New York. The Deitzes. Charles Deitz, a once sharp business man who has been downfallen to nerves, is looking for a rest and enjoys the country setting. Delia Deitz, a strange off-the-wall artist, is planning to make "the house her own" and does not care what anyone else thinks about it. Lydia Deitz, daughter of Charles and step-child of Delia, is yet another strange and unusual soul. She is the only living human being that can see Adam and Barbara as ghosts.

But Adam and Barbara are unhappy and are introduced to Beetlejuice by a transmission Beetlejuice puts on an old broken television. As the Deitzes move in and change things in their home, they decide to try and scare these new people away. But nothing they do works. Should they try Beetlejuice? They decide to let him out and then the fun begins!

Beetlejuice will continue to be a classic for years to come! No matter what the time, there is always time for this movie! Keaton at his best!
