In a Nutshell: Pretty good. Wont miss anything on the small
screen, except for the jumping audience in a couple places.
Quick Plot: Telly Parada (Julianne Moore) is left emotionally
incapacitated by the death of her 9-year-old son, but begins to
doubt her own sanity when everyone she knows starts to tell her
that her son never existed. Is she crazy, or has everyone else
just forgotten?
In Detail: This movie was actually pretty good. The execution
is flawless, and the acting is very good (Ive always liked
Julianne Moore, and shes very good in this). There really
arent many special effects, so it wouldnt lose much on the
small screen. I think the exposition goes a little too fast;
i.e. too many clues to early, but its still a fun ride. Id
wait for it to come out on video and rent it.
Scare Factor: My favorite type of scary: its almost all in your
mind. The audience screams in a few places, but its not really
a scary moviemore a psychological suspense thriller.
Comparable to a jumpy-ish episode of the X-Files as far as
scariness goes.
Will I Buy It? MaybeIll rent it again first to see how it is
for repeat viewing.
