STAR WARS

This is a classic rather then adventure or some might even call it a space-western.
It is a typical good (Rebel Alliance) vs. evil (Galactic Empire) story set a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away....

Princess Leia was secretly aboard an Imperial Star Destroyer spaceship, where she stole plans that showed the weakness of the evil "Death Star" battle station. Before she got caught, she hid the information vital to the survival of the rebellion into the memory systems of a pair of droids, C3-PO and R2-D2. They absconded in an escape pod to land on a desert planet.
Luke Skywalker a young man lived with his aunt and uncle on a planet called Tatooine. Being moisture farmers they needed more droids to help with various chores. They soon bought the two droids C3-PO and R2-D2 from some local merchants (Jawa's) that had picked them up wandering in the desert. While Luke cleaned them on their first inspection, he triggered a switch that projected a looping hologram video of Princess Leia. The message was "Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope." With this new information Luke set forth to find Obi-Wan. Finding him, Luke learned that Obi-Wan was a jedi-knight the same as Lukes father who fought in the clone wars and was murdered by Darth Vader who was seduced by the dark side of the FORCE. The FORCE is what gave a Jedi his power. Together they replayed Leia's message in full and discovered a jedi's presence was needed on the planet Alderaan. Obi-Wan then started to teach the ways of the FORCE to Luke.

On the fearsome Death Star battle station light years away, the vicious tyrant, the skeletal Grand Moff Tarkin, Governor of the Imperial Outland Regions, led the evil Galactic Empire. The Grand Moff assures everyone that Vader will succeed in obtaining the plans and destroying the Rebels.

The old jedi and Luke discovered the remains of an attack on the Jawa's sandcrawler transport. Suddenly, it dawned on Luke that his relatives were in danger. Luke then sped home in his landspeeder, he found the charred remains of his aunt and uncle and the farm they had been burned to the ground. Darth Vader's Imperial Forces had visited in a deadly search for the plans. Luke then told Obi-Wan he wanted to go to Alderaan and continue training to be a jedi knight.
Luke, Ben and the bots went to Tatooine's spaceport. They found a smuggler who would to take them to Alderaan named Han Solo. Solo, the pilot of a ship known as the Millennium Falcon was joined by a large, seven foot furry Wookie called Chewbacca. They blasted off of Tattoine in Han's ship as soon as they could to help the urgent message from the princess.

Meanwhile aboard the Death Star, Princess Leia resisted to Darth Vader's mind probe and delayed divulging any information about the location of the Rebel Forces. The Death Star's commander Grand Moff Tarkin chose an alternate method of persuasion, to test the power of the Death Star by destroying Leia's home of Alderaan. In one Giant Super laser emitting from the Death Star, the blue planet Alderaan was blown to bits.

Aboard the Millennium Falcon, Solo announced that they were approaching Alderaan. By the time they realized what had happened to the peaceful planet, the death Star sucked in the Millennium Falcon with a tractor beam. Rescuing the princess from the evil battle station then returning to the rebel base with the stolen plans, the alliance plans an attack to target the weakness and destroy the Death Star. The rebels launched the attack. After high casualties and losses Luke used the FORCE to guide him to the area of weakness was and blasted it to eternity. And they lived happily ever afteruntil the next sequel.

Directed by George Lucas,  with this film he wrote the new recipe for successful money making movies which is still used by producers and directors today.
Musical score by John Williams, I personally feel Star Wars wouldn't have done nearly as well as it did if it wasn't for the amazing soundtrack.

NOTE: I'd like to point out that a 500-700-word essay is far too short to do it justice and is in no way deserving of the magnificent work or art, that piece of brilliance that is known as "Star Wars" today.
