This will be the page where I blog, and put all my thoughts
about stuff that's going on. Now, I don't exactly have the
most interesting life, but I'm sure I'll find something good to
talk about. Occasionally, I'll rant and stuff, but hopefully it will be interesting. Well, read on to find out about stuff that happens in my life...

8-12/03--
School. That's all I need to say. I went to Tiger Camp today, got my official schedule, and learned where all of my classes are. I can't believe that this is our last week off. I mean, where the f--- did the summer go?!?! Shite, it feels like only yesterday that we were off to D.C., and having good times at the movies and stuff. Now we're going to be worrying and stressing about all this stuff. I don't have many classes with the people I've come to know so well, so I guess in some places I'll have to start from scratch...I did that in 6th grade, though, and look where it got me. I still can't believe how different high school is, and that just a few months ago I was in a relatively small school, which happened to be SO easy to navigate through. Oh well...I don't even want to start thinking about college.
As I sit here, drinking my bottled water, loads of thoughts drift in and out of my mind. A lot of them have to do with school, the plans I have tomorrow, band, and stuff. I feel like writing all this down; putting it into a book. Of course, I'd make it fictional, but it'd be cool to put all my thoughts into a novel form. I've been told that I've got writing skills, which I don't happen to believe, but it WOULD be cool to write a book. As I've said, I started a screenplay, but have yet to finish it. Most of you know what it's about, but if you want to know the gist of it, send me an IM.
I think we need to do something in this last week of freedom, from homework, nagging teachers, and the evil that is Mrs. McNorton for some (To those who have her, you have my pity...). Anyway, there needs to be something cool this week, aside from what happens this Friday. We should all go hang out somewhere, or something. I don't think anyone's looking forward to school, especially after today, so let's not think about that too much. Okay, so I think I've blogged enough for tonight. I'm out...

8/9/03---
Not a lot to say, just that I don't really want to start school...at all. Can't really stop it though, so I'll just have to go along with it. What I can't believe is that I'm already starting high school. I remember the first day of 6th grade pretty clearly, as well as 7th, and 8th...It's hard to believe so much time has gone by so quickly. Anyway, I'm sure these next 4 years will go by pretty fast too, especially with band. As for band, it's pretty cool. I've met a lot of people, and even started hanging out with some of them. Hmm...today I went to the movies with a couple of friends, and it was pretty cool. I'd already seen the movie before, but I actually think it was even better another time around. Pretty cool time we had, aside from the theater being pretty bad, and the seats not very comfortable...I'm sure we'll be doing that again.
I finally got a cell phone. Took a while, but I've got one, and it's not in bad shape. I can't use it too much, but at least I can call people from it, outside of my home. Too bad we can't use it at Carroll...Actually, speaking of Carroll, we took a 'tour' of it the other day with my friend's mom, and it's pretty big, and somewhat confusing. I'm sure I'll get it down sooner or later, but it's not BIG to the point of where I'll be lost...Now, I don't have anything else to say, so I guess I'm out...

8/3/03---Random stuff...
Haven't blogged in a couple of days. Anyway, summer's slipping by, isn't it? It's like when you get a handful of sand and watch it slowly fall out through your fingers. I hate the fact that we've already gotten our schedules, which shows that school's slowly approaching. I'm not exactly looking forward to taking all honors, but it has to be done. Hopefully, though, this year will be cool, what with band and everything. I've already met loads of people, and once school starts, I'll be meeting even MORE new people. Band's going to be pretty fun, and at least I'll be there with people I know...
My birthday is slowly coming up. This Tuesday, it will be a month until that time. I know I still have quite a bit of time until then, but I still cannot figure out what to do for that date. Should I have all of my really good friends over and just hang out, watch movies, and eat? Should I take select friends to the movies, then have them come over and spend the night? *Sigh*...I'll probably just have a lot of people over and we'll watch movies and shite. Another issue...who to invite?! I know A LOT of people, and now even more with band, and it's going to be hard to decide who to have over and stuff. I'll probably make a list like I did with my Spring Break party, and maybe more people will be able to come...we'll see...
I really feel like doing something tomorrow. Whether it be the movies, or the mall, or both for that matter, I feel like hanging out with some of my good friends after being tied up with band and stuff. We should either go see American Wedding, or go to the mall and enjoy the tax-free weekend (haha, along with fighting the crowds). Either one is fine by me, but it would be a little easier to go to the movies. I think we should also squeeze in a trip to Sonic or something this week. We HAVE to make what we can out of the rest of this summer. The BIG movie idea still stands, unless someone comes up with an even better idea, which is possible. Well, let's just enjoy the rest of this summer, and hope that it doesn't slip by too fast. Anyway, I guess that about wraps up this blog. I kind of want to start 'The Rules of Attraction' today, so I guess I'll end this here. I'm out...

7/29/03---Band, School, and Stuff...
Okay, so today was my first day of marching band at Carroll. The good thing was that I got to see a lot of people that I hadn't seen or talked to over the summer. The bad thing was spending 2 and a half hours in the morning sun, shouting at the top of our lungs, and learning basic commands. Sort of reminded me of Drumline, in fact...Wasn't too bad, though. Everything was pretty easy, but my voice will probably be gone by Wednesday. Who knows...maybe my voice will get stronger, and I'll be able to shout a lot more...I was surprised at how 'kind' the upper classmen were with us freshmen. They seemed okay with us, and never really got mad at us for anything. Maybe because it was the first day...haha, and because they'd been in this situation before. Now, let's see how it goes for the rest of the summer...
I was really looking forward to MAYBE getting my schedule in the mail today, but, no such luck. I went to the mailbox maybe 3 or 4 times today, just to make sure the mailman hadn't come yet. When he finally did, I rushed out there, and was pretty upset that there wasn't anything addressed to me. I guess I should be a bit more patient...but it's our HIGH SCHOOL schedule...Also, today: I think everything FULLY sunk in...we're starting high school. HIGH SCHOOL. Four years until we go off to college. That's it. That may be the last time we ever see each other in our lives. I'm not really looking forward to it. Anyway, back to schedules...I hope I at least have ONE class with one of my best friends, or a really good friend, at least. It sounds rare, though, since a lot of people seem to have been split up. Oh well, there's still movies every SATURDAY night, now. Yeah, band's going to be in the way of the usual Friday night movie...Hell, band's going to be in the way of a lot of stuff, but hopefully, it'll be fun.
Finally, I really think that there should be one thing that we do this summer, where we can go, later on in the year or so,"Hey, remember that thing we did...," or something like that. This summer's been great, but we REALLY have to make it last as much as we can. Band's in the way of sleepovers..., but there's still weekends. I'm glad band only takes place in the morning, too. Anyway, like I suggested in my subprofile, we should get a crowd of as many people as we can (more than 'Anger Management'), and go see a movie. Something fun, and it should happen before school starts. We should go out to eat again...haha...maybe we'll see 'Ms. Marek' again...lol. Well, that about does it. Not bad for a first blog...Besides, I've got to get up at like 6:45 AM for band. I'm out...

Awesome movie...one of the best I've seen all year...
comes out 3 days before my birthday...*hint hint*

This is also something I'm looking forward to. This is
where 'The Simpsons' really did become the BEST show on TV.
