Great panels:
Page 1, panel 3: Sparkplug in the cockpit
Page 6, panel 5: I dont know why, but I really like the way Sideswipe goes up Primes ramp Page 10, panel 4: Big robot carrying off huge machinery Page 13, panel 3: Skywarp tearing up the plane Page 14, panel 1: big robot throwing a tank Page 18, panel 4: Gears climbing up the cliff Quotes: Starscream: Machines have been slaves on this backward world long enough! Today the roles are rightly reversed! Sparkplug: Why dont you guys pick on someone your own size?
Megatron: We are not of your world-
Bystander: Wow! Gears: This human reminds me of Bluestreak they both seem to love the sound of their own voice! Sparkplug: Yeah, bullet-head Ive done your dirty work for you! Take your stinking fuel and leave me alone! Gears: Mission accomplished friend! Humans!: Bike cop: Sarge always said if you put in enough miles youd believe a car could talk! Security guard: H- hey! Come back here with that! (Id quit this job if I wasnt so close to retirement!) Tanker driver: They didnt say anything about this at the drivers training institute! Megatron is a Walther P-38. His patience with Starscreams ambition to replace him as leader of the Decepticons wears thin this issue. As long as I wield the power of my fusion cannon, my position of command is assured! Watch your step, Starscream! The day may soon come when your services are no longer required! Short temper here, no patience at all with Sparkplugs personality. Sparkplug was a prisoner of war in Korea. William Witwicky, Sergeant first class, United States marines. While the Decepticons raided a powerful energy source the Harrison nuclear power plant theyve used it to bodge a base together, without comprehending the use it would have. Sparkplug: Theyre like modern men trying to hack it back in cavemen days! Establishes Frenzy and Rumble as spy cassettes. Rumble and Frenzy are seen to be transforming. Starscream: boasts of his superior design and slyly mentions Megatrons failure and his success in capturing Sparkplug. Bumblebees looking more like Bumblebee this issue, rather than flicking between his Y-shaped alien face and his square headed toy incarnation. Blames himself for the Decepticons taking off with Sparkplug. Optimus Prime: Takes the blame for the Autobots failure to stop the Decepticons kidnapping Sparkplug. Buster: Chews the Autobots out a bit. Doesnt care whose fault it is, just wants his dad back alive. Sideswipe and Hound low on fuel ride back to the Ark in Primes trailer. Transforming: Prime, Prowl, Hound, Bumblebee. Ratchets not his screen faced toy self this issue, hes the Ratchet we know and love.
