Sorry I haven't updated in a while, but it's taken me awhile to think of what I wanted to say about "Spider-Man 2."  I knew I was going to say it was exactly what I expected and better.  I had read the novelization (because I am a geek) before the movie came out, so I already knew what was going to happen.  But actually seeing everythingoh my goshit was just so awesome and there are no words to describe how good it was.
The story begins two years after Peter kissed Mary Jane in the cemetery.  MJ has gone on to be a model and a Broadway actress.  Harry Osborn is working in his father's company.  I don't think he is running it, I think he just controls all of the money.  He's also obsessing over Spider-Man because he still thinks Spidey killed his father.  So both of them are very successful.  Meanwhile, Peter/Spider-Man gets fired from two jobs on one day, which happens to be his birthday, finds out that the love of his life, MJ, is dating some other guy, and Spider-Man's duties are running his life.  Basically, his life sucks.  To make matters worse, there's a new super-villain in town.  His name is Doctor Otto Octavius, a.k.a. Doctor Octopus, a.k.a. Doc Ock.  Before Otto became Ock, he and Peter were good acquaintances, both with a great love of science.  Then with an experiment gone badly, Otto receives four new limbs, making him Doc Ock.  Ock starts stealing money to rebuild the experiment that gave him his new appendages and starts to terrorize some of the people in New York.  Meanwhile, Peter's powers aren't working anymore, like when he's swinging on his web, no more comes out of his arm, and he makes a terrible decision to be "Spider-Man no more" and throws his suit in the trash.  He then starts to enjoy a normal life, studying, going to MJ's play, and not paying much attention to the crime of New York City.  Thankfully, a bum off the street finds the suit and gives it to J. Jonah Jameson.  Then, Doc Ock goes to Harry Osborn and they make a deal.  Harry will give Ock the power source he needs if Ock brings Spider-Man alive to him.  And I'm not going to write anymore on the plot of this movie so as not to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it.
The only bad thing about this movie was the CGI, but you could live with it.  A warning to all jumpy people: there are many jumpy parts in this movie.  I definitely jumped a lot, just ask poor Lauren and Beau, who I sat next to in the theater...Lauren told me that the only reason she got freaked out in the movie was from seeing me freak out.  So sorry to Lauren and Beau.  Some of the funny parts of the movie were when this lady sings, "Spider-Man, Spider-Man, does whatever a spider can"  and when Peter is walking down the street when he's normal and he trips and falls.  It's hilarious because the background music is "Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head".  The best fight sequence of this movie is when Spidey and Ock battle it out on the top of a train.  This movie is just so great.  Some critics don't think it's as great as I think it is, but all in all, "Spider-Man 2" got great reviews.  Again, sorry for not updating sooner, but I thought I was going to go see the movie again that way I could write a better review, but I didn't, so this is all you're going to get.  The last thing I will say to you all is GO SEE THE MOVIE OR YOU ARE MISSING OUT ON ONE OF THE GREATEST MOVIES EVER!!!!!!!
