Doctors have given Roy Horn (of Siegfried & Roy fame) a 95 to 98 percent chance of surviving his recent on-stage tiger attack, casino mogul Steve Wynn told Reuters. He also said Horn had been breathing hours at a time without the aid of a respirator. Wynn also told TV station KLAS-TV the tiger that mauled Horn was distracted by a woman with a big 'do sitting in the front. Meanwhile, animal experts are disputing claims that the tiger mauling was an accident. "That was a typical killing bite," Jonathan Kraft, who runs the Arizona-based nonprofit Keepers of the Wild, told the Associated Press. |
