Review:
Tim: I have to give credit for the amazing impressions the cast gives of a wide variety of �epic� film roles. It is somewhat enjoyable to see absurd characterizations of movies we�ve come to know and love. Sadly, when it comes to being funny, this movie is an epic failure. This is where the praise ends and the criticism begins.
I just don�t understand how these spoof movies are enjoyable. There is absolute no plot, just a hastily thrown together hodgepodge from plot points of other movies. How can this be enjoyable? There are a few funny moments, but these movies tend to throw as much as possible at the audience, hoping they will find at least a few jokes funny. Very, very few are actually good. 98% of the movie is just stupid.
It depresses me that these films continue to make enough money to warrant similar movies in the future. This trend is getting old, and I sincerely hope it stops. Unless you are ten years old or obsessed with impressionists, this film cannot be funny to you. The �strength� of movie comes from borrowing from better movies, and practically copying scene for scene with some type of comedy twist. This doesn�t take a great deal of brains, and I pray no more of these movies get made.
