As a kind of post-9/11 tribute, this movie looks at all the different kinds of New Yorkers, and one of Norton's friends, played by Barry Pepper, lives right next door to the fallen towers. Rosario Dawson (Monty's girlfriend), Brian Cox (father), Philip Seymour Hoffman (friend) and Anna Paquin (one of Hoffman's students) round out the terrific cast. The movie was intriguing and graphic, without being over-the-top. 25th Hour is a movie that's hard to classify, but it is one that definitely should be seen. |
