SirAlexTheFirst (1:32:50 AM): The crowd is starting to get antsy.

Sarcazmo47 (1:35:13 AM): He watches those that do not follow, to see what they do.

SirAlexTheFirst (1:36:02 AM): Most of them are still looking at the white haired man and the woman with him.

Sarcazmo47 (1:37:03 AM): Verity stands and waits.

SirAlexTheFirst (1:38:14 AM): The handlers of the strange-acting people gently turn them around, calming them, and start walking away. Slowly.

Sarcazmo47 (1:38:29 AM): Verity stands and watches until they're out of sight.

Sarcazmo47 (1:40:04 AM): Then he sits down in the doorway and breathes out a great sigh.

coughingpuppy (1:43:21 AM): She doesn't answer. Then, after a moment, "Do you think it was wrong to turn them away?"

Sarcazmo47 (1:43:52 AM): He blinks. "If it were just me........Relia. If we ever are attacked, I want you to run."

SirAlexTheFirst (1:45:45 AM): Karn comes out from around the house. "Is all well?"

coughingpuppy (1:45:48 AM): Aurelia looks up at him and seems almost offended. "I wouldn't leave. Don't suggest anything like that again."

coughingpuppy (1:45:54 AM): She looks up at Karn and nods.

Sarcazmo47 (1:46:47 AM): He looks like he doesn't plan on compromising. "It's not just yourself you're protecting."

Sarcazmo47 (1:47:16 AM): "I won't have either of you in danger. You will run."

Sarcazmo47 (1:48:10 AM): He turns his head to Karn, and smiles. "Of course, Karn. Everything is fine. Thank you for your concern."

coughingpuppy (1:48:15 AM): "And go where?"

Sarcazmo47 (1:48:27 AM): "Actually.....I need to ask something of you."

SirAlexTheFirst (1:49:00 AM): "I thought it would be prudent not to show myself. YOu handled things well, Master Verity."

SirAlexTheFirst (1:49:03 AM): "Yes?"

Sarcazmo47 (1:50:17 AM): "If we ever come under threat again.....your first and only priority is to defend Aurelia, and her child, at all costs. If we are separated, take them to Nagukor. Do you understand?"

SirAlexTheFirst (1:50:50 AM): He nods. "Yes, Master Verity."

Sarcazmo47 (1:51:08 AM): He nods, then looks back at Aurelia. "To Nagukor."

Sarcazmo47 (1:51:19 AM): "Take the money, if you can - it will be helpful."

SirAlexTheFirst (1:52:00 AM): Karn speaks, a bit reluctantly. "Were they threats, Master?"

Sarcazmo47 (1:52:28 AM): "Those people? Only to my pride. And maybe this house. But I will not be caught unprepared again."

coughingpuppy (1:52:51 AM): Aurelia turns her eyes away. She doesn't seem to know whether to be resentful or not.
