You have just entered room "AND."
AndrewRogue: Whee!
Sarcazmo47: Whee!
coughingpuppy has entered the room.
Adm H Sopko: Whee!
SirAlexTheFirst: EEEEEEEEEEhw!
AndrewRogue: ...
SirAlexTheFirst: How bout that Harry Mason?
SirAlexTheFirst: He needs to shave the bricks.
AndrewRogue: He's all right.
SirAlexTheFirst: Rock on and
SirAlexTheFirst: ~~~~~GO~~~~~
Adm H Sopko: How about that Harry Palms? Zenny needs to change his real name
AndrewRogue: *we were shoveling*
Adm H Sopko: ::Tills the land::
Adm H Sopko: ::Lots of stuff happened on all sides of the RP front, and no one is the wiser to the other::
AndrewRogue: (Yay!)
AndrewRogue: *Arianna works that shovel quietly*
Adm H Sopko: (Shut up, PF)
AndrewRogue: "So... what do you intend to plant Verity?"
AndrewRogue: (BRB)
Chromeus18: (ack)
Sarcazmo47: He grunts and shrugs.
AndrewRogue: "Hunter... perhaps we should set out after this. I... its a stupid plan to simply sit and wait for my father."
Adm H Sopko: ::He sticks the shovel in the ground and leaves it there, stretching his back out a bit:: "Let's go then."
AndrewRogue: "We should have a plan first."
Adm H Sopko: (What is the closest city that has a mass transporter?)
SirAlexTheFirst: Gelendar.
SirAlexTheFirst: Check that - Begres,
SirAlexTheFirst: .
Adm H Sopko: (?)
Adm H Sopko: (Can we use it?)
SirAlexTheFirst: Who knows?
Adm H Sopko: (Well, we don't know it's there anyway)
AndrewRogue: (We can ask Verry dear)
blaine077713770 has entered the room.
Adm H Sopko: "We'll head back to Gelendar to take the mass transporter to Whittyre tonight. Who knows? You may even run into your father on the way back."
AndrewRogue: *she smiles hopefully*
Adm H Sopko: "Get your stuff ready. We'll leave as soon as possible." ::He leans on the shovel::
AndrewRogue: *she puts the shovel up and goes to reorganize her pack*
SirAlexTheFirst: Pack organization!
SirAlexTheFirst: Rawr!
Adm H Sopko: ::Waits for them all to return, stretching his tired muscles out a bit::
blaine077713770: brb folks
Chromeus18: (i'll be around in a moment)
AndrewRogue: *it is easily organized*
AndrewRogue: *and she retunrs quickly*
AndrewRogue: (Mrr... one sec!)
Adm H Sopko: ::Once they're all squared up and ready to go, Hunter turns to Verity:: "Goodbye. We promise we won't be back anytime soon." ::He cracks a smile::
AndrewRogue: "Umm... wait, do you have any paper?"
coughingpuppy: "I do."
Sarcazmo47: "If your father shows up here, we'll send you a letter."
AndrewRogue: "Could I... I don't know if it would do any good, but maybe if he shows... having a letter from me would help."
blaine077713770: back
coughingpuppy: "I'll get paper for you, then. Come inside."
AndrewRogue: "Thank you." *follows*
Adm H Sopko: ::Goes back to waiting, being patient::
coughingpuppy: Aurelia gets some paper and ink for her and sets it at a small desk.

AndrewRogue: *write write write*
Adm H Sopko: (Oh yeah, Verity... what did were you talking about before?)
Sarcazmo47: What?
Adm H Sopko: (Nothing... joke)
coughingpuppy: Aurelia watches to make sure her spelling is fine.
AndrewRogue: AndrewRogue: Father,I am writing this of my free will to tell you that Verity and Aurelia wish to simply live in peace, and I ask that you honor this wish. They have spoke with Nellix, and now even hold
AndrewRogue: Excalibur. They are changed souls, and as such, I beg you to give them a chance. Please father.AriannaShe signs the letter on the front.

Chromeus18: (Jerri is here for a reason! he's just... kinda busy >_>)
coughingpuppy: She folds the letter and leaves it on the desk, then goes back outside.
Adm H Sopko: ::Hunter is still waiting there:: "Done?"
AndrewRogue: "Yes."
Adm H Sopko: "Alright. Then we're off." ::He turns to Verity:: "Thank you for putting us up, and good luck in the future." ::He extends his hand::
Sarcazmo47: Verity stops, puts the hoe over his shoulder, and takes his forearm. "I hope you find an answer to soon. For their sakes."
AndrewRogue: *looks questioningly at Hunter*
Chromeus18: *becomes available for a moment* "Take the greatest care, I'll make sure things go well here. As a man of Tiyrael, it is my duty."
Adm H Sopko: "I think you've put me on the way. Thank you and Aurelia both. I needed that."
Sarcazmo47: He turns away and goes back to tilling.
Chromeus18: *grabs Hunter's arm* "Don't let Arianna come to any harm... I've imparted a bit of... my knowledge in her... Protect her as always, lad."
coughingpuppy: Aurelia nods to Hunter. "Good luck finding an answer, but don't expect it to hit you in the face. You need to look for it."
Adm H Sopko: ::He chuckles:: "I'm not that naive anymore, Aurelia..."
Adm H Sopko: ::He blinks in surprise, turning to Jerriford:: "You're not coming with us?"
SirAlexTheFirst: (I believe that was the plan, for Jerri to stay semipermanently)
coughingpuppy: She grins. "I was until a few years ago. It doesn't hurt to make sure it's something you know already."
AndrewRogue: (He was gonna stay a week I think.)
Adm H Sopko: ::To Aurelia:: "Touche"
blaine077713770: (Alex, your IM is calling you)
AndrewRogue: *she looks to Bandon, her eyes questioning*
Sarcazmo47: Bandon looks back.
AndrewRogue: *she turns back, shrugging, and extends her hand to Verity and Auerelia*
*OnlineHost*: Sarcazmo47 rolled 1 20-sided die: 4
Sarcazmo47: Verity fails to notice.
coughingpuppy: Aurelia shakes her hand and gives Verity's leg a tap with the end of her shovel.
Adm H Sopko: ::Hunter walks to Jerry, looking at him more seriously than he's ever seen:: "Jerriford. The group will not be split up."
SirAlexTheFirst: (The group? Didn't you agree to work with Verity?)
Sarcazmo47: Didn't Jerriford tell you he was staying yesterday?
SirAlexTheFirst: (Sorry, DM curiosity. *shuts back up*)
Sarcazmo47: Yes, he did. Quite explicitly.
Adm H Sopko: (I missed it)
Chromeus18: "Don't worry about it, Hunter. It's for everyone's sake."
Sarcazmo47: No, you were there.....
Adm H Sopko: (I was there. I missed as in I forgot)
Sarcazmo47: Oh.
Chromeus18: "I'll make sure things go well here, you go on. I'll catch up with you later."
Adm H Sopko: ::He shakes his head:: "No. It isnt'. I won't let the group be split, Jerriford."
AndrewRogue: *she accepts Aurelia's hand happilly* "Be well."
coughingpuppy: Aurelia clasps her hand briefly but firmly. "You as well."
AndrewRogue: "Thank you."
Sarcazmo47: Verity takes her hand in turn, and his eyes glimmer. "Little key. For a follower, you make your own decisions far too often. But not quite often enough to be a leader. Which one do you really mean to be?"
Chromeus18: "I have to do this, Hunter. I refuse to let a couple I marry not have the peace they expect, and rightly deserve."
AndrewRogue: "I... I don't believe I was meant to lead..."
Sarcazmo47: Verity has already turned and gone back to tilling.
SirAlexTheFirst: Tilling.
SirAlexTheFirst: Not killing, tilling.
AndrewRogue: Swords to Plowshares!

blaine077713770: that's happy....I love 5's...maybe I should put that in an elf's con score.....
blaine077713770: wait that's a 4....never mind
Sarcazmo47: BWAHAHAHAH.
coughingpuppy: ((Elven con scores blow ass.))
AndrewRogue: (*laughs uproariously, because someone has a stat lower then Aria*)
Chromeus18: (why won't people stop IMing me!
Adm H Sopko: ::His fist clenches unnoticably by his side:: "Jerry... I'm asking you one last time. Please, do not force the group to split. Good things have never come from it."

Sarcazmo47: ((Verity needs to hang out a shingle "Leadership Lessons - 3 to 5, Mon through Fri"))
AndrewRogue: XD
coughingpuppy: Aurelia nods, then turns away from her and goes back to tilling too.
Chromeus18: "Hunter, do not worry. This isn't a dire situation, you'll know where to find me, and it's strictly temporary. You know how to contact me in any event" *taps the circlet*
Adm H Sopko: ::He sighs, then pats his shoulder:: "Alright, I know when I need to cut my losses." ::He cracks a smile:: "Just make sure you get to Whittyre in one piece, alright?"
AndrewRogue: "Please be careful Jerri."
Chromeus18: "You be careful."
AndrewRogue: "You should know us better Jerri." *she gives a joking smile*
Chromeus18: "I'm not the one venturing into territory we know nothing about.."
Chromeus18: *gives Aria one last hug* "Take care of Hunter, with the bit I could give you..."
AndrewRogue: "No harm will come to any of them while I still breathe." *she returns it tightly*
Adm H Sopko: (It's official. AriaxBandon<G>)
AndrewRogue: (Yep. Except in weird fanfics.)
Sarcazmo47: ...
AndrewRogue: (:p)
Adm H Sopko: (That was for Chrome)
AndrewRogue: (Well, its mostly offical. Something could happen still. Anyway... we all set off?)
SirAlexTheFirst: Going to Gelendar?
Sarcazmo47: Verity attacks you with the hoe.
SirAlexTheFirst: Or Begres?
SirAlexTheFirst: Or whatall?
*OnlineHost*: Sarcazmo47 rolled 1 20-sided die: 19
Adm H Sopko: What ho?
AndrewRogue: That one. *rimshot*

Adm H Sopko: Gelendar

Chromeus18: *attacks Verity with an aloe vera plant*
*OnlineHost*: Chromeus18 rolled 1 20-sided die: 17
SirAlexTheFirst: Gelendar it is.
Adm H Sopko: Wow... Verity is stricken with silkly smooth skin. Aurelia thanks you
AndrewRogue: *Aria is a lot happier to walk rather than fly*
SirAlexTheFirst: Afternoon when you get there.
blaine077713770: (that's a crit threat: Aloe Vera Plant 1d20/1-20 x6
AndrewRogue: (Another lay-over at Aria's home?)
Adm H Sopko: Nope
SirAlexTheFirst: Are you going straight to the teleport?
AndrewRogue: (Must rely on Bandon for cookies then.)
Adm H Sopko: ::Hunter leads them straight back to the teleport, looking for the amount of money it'd take to get them to Whittyre::
SirAlexTheFirst: It doesn't cost money. But as the guy at the counter informs you, "Travel to Whittyre at the present time requires an approved itinery and reason for the trip. They're tightening the borders."
AndrewRogue: "They are?" *can't prevent it from slipping out*
SirAlexTheFirst: *nod*
AndrewRogue: "Do you have any idea why?"
Adm H Sopko: ::He nods:: "Thank you. Where would we go to have our itinerary approved?"
SirAlexTheFirst: "Right here. I can get you the approval in a few minutes - I just need to know where you plan on going, how long you'll be staying, and the reason for your journey. And your names, of course."
AndrewRogue: *she defers to Hunter for everything but names*
Adm H Sopko: "We will be heading to Whittyre on business for the Temple of Gabriel. We'll be visiting the great libraries. We'll be there for about 2 to 3 weeks. Our names are Hunter Sopko," ::Motions to the others:: "Bandon, and
Adm H Sopko: Arianna Lanathan." (Whats Bandon's last name anyway?)
Sarcazmo47: He lacks one.
AndrewRogue: *winces a little at the mention of that name*
*OnlineHost*: blaine077713770 rolled 1 4-sided die: 2
Sarcazmo47: Brother Bandon of the Church of Luthien.

*OnlineHost*: blaine077713770 rolled 2 4-sided dice: 3 2
SirAlexTheFirst: (Blaine is making a new character. Apparently with a level of Fighter?)
Sarcazmo47: Random height.
AndrewRogue: (Ah.)
Adm H Sopko: 3'2"?
AndrewRogue: (*kicks chat*)
SirAlexTheFirst: The guy is waiting for you to finish.
Adm H Sopko: (I'm done)
AndrewRogue: What didn't Soppy say?
SirAlexTheFirst: "Is that all?"
Adm H Sopko: "Unless you need more detail."
SirAlexTheFirst: "Let me check..."

Sarcazmo47: (I've got you all listed here as "Associates of a known felon and mass murderer"))
SirAlexTheFirst: He steps back and opens said door.
*OnlineHost*: blaine077713770 rolled 7 4-sided dice: 4 2 3 2 3 2 3
AndrewRogue: "Thank you sir." *she nodes her head and steps on through*
Adm H Sopko: ::He nods to the man, remaining confident:: "Thank you." ::He walks on through::
Sarcazmo47: Bandon follows with nary an adjective to be found.
SirAlexTheFirst: WHAA teleport/
AndrewRogue: Is it scary?
SirAlexTheFirst: It is not scary at all.
AndrewRogue: Yay. Any brown cloak guys?
Adm H Sopko: (No, Verity is no following us)
SirAlexTheFirst: One minute you're stepping into the glowing circle, and then you're stepping out, in a much more lavish teleport.
Sarcazmo47: Are there women in grass skirts?
AndrewRogue: *looks a bit disoriented for a moment* "I'll never get used to that."
Sarcazmo47: Does it make the Archmage Mass Teleport noise?
SirAlexTheFirst: A man who looks exactly like the guy you just talked to walks up. "Welcome to Whittyre, honored guests. How may I assist you?"
SirAlexTheFirst: Make me some Spot checks, too.
Adm H Sopko: ::Hunter stops for a moment to readjust himself, then looks to the man:: "We'll need accomodations for our stay. Thats about it for now."
*OnlineHost*: Adm H Sopko rolled 1 20-sided die: 19
*OnlineHost*: AndrewRogue rolled 1 20-sided die: 14
AndrewRogue: 14!
Adm H Sopko: 29
*OnlineHost*: Sarcazmo47 rolled 1 20-sided die: 16
Sarcazmo47: Something!
SirAlexTheFirst: There is in fact a man in brown robes staring oddly at you, leaning against a wall.
AndrewRogue: ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGG HHHH!
Sarcazmo47: Does Bandon recognize said man?
Adm H Sopko: ::He motions with his head to the man:: "And if I may ask, who is he?"
AndrewRogue: *Arianna waves vaguely at Brown Cloak* "Hello sir."
Sarcazmo47: ((It's the G-Man!))
SirAlexTheFirst: Roll me an Int check.
SirAlexTheFirst: The G-Man wears a suit.
Sarcazmo47: Key difference.
*OnlineHost*: Sarcazmo47 rolled 1 20-sided die: 5
Sarcazmo47: No go for me!
SirAlexTheFirst: Bandon does not recognize him.
SirAlexTheFirst: He waves back at Aria vaguely.
Adm H Sopko: Would I know him?
SirAlexTheFirst: Counter guy #2: "Right this way, sirs. I'm afraid that would violate our policy of ensuring patron privacy."
SirAlexTheFirst: He starts walking down one of the octagonal hallways.
AndrewRogue: "Ah..." *back to Brown Cloak* "Sorry sir."
Adm H Sopko: ::He nods, following him::
SirAlexTheFirst: Hunter? Int check.
*OnlineHost*: Adm H Sopko rolled 1 20-sided die: 20
Adm H Sopko: 31
AndrewRogue: ...PWNed.
SirAlexTheFirst: You have no idea.
AndrewRogue: Doubly PWNed
Adm H Sopko: ((::Whimpers:: ))
SirAlexTheFirst: Well, actually you kinda do.
SirAlexTheFirst: It's the same guy who stared at you in the other teleport.
SirAlexTheFirst: Other than that, nothing.
Adm H Sopko: Alrighty
AndrewRogue: *anyway, follows Hunter*
Sarcazmo47: Follow follow Mcfollow.
SirAlexTheFirst: Follow follow.
SirAlexTheFirst: He leads you into a bottomless pit and you lemmings all die.
SirAlexTheFirst: Nah
AndrewRogue: (Damnit!)
Sarcazmo47: I hate it when that happens.
SirAlexTheFirst: The hall leads to a doorway, with a wall right behind it. Counter Guy steps right through the doorway and vanishes.
Adm H Sopko: ::He holds his hand out in front of him as he walks slowly to the door::
SirAlexTheFirst: Your hand disappears as it passes through the doorway, and you feel a temperature difference on the other side.
Adm H Sopko: ::Continues right through, his hand still outstretched::
AndrewRogue: "Uhm..." *looks distinctively uncomfortable as she steps through the door*
Sarcazmo47: Bandon pushes her through from behind.
SirAlexTheFirst: And you emerge in what seems to be a temple, judging from the large stained glass window of Gabriel.
AndrewRogue: "Hey!" *she turns around in mild annoywance*
SirAlexTheFirst: The walls are rich gold, and lined with rack upon rack of odd implements, mostly metal. You recognize some conventional weapons among them.
Sarcazmo47: Bandon just grins at her. "Like jumping into a lake."
AndrewRogue: *she sighs, shakes her head and smiles* "Lakes are different then walls."
Sarcazmo47: He laughs and goes on after Hunter.
SirAlexTheFirst: (And no, not even Hunter is familiar with teleporting doorways such as that. Teleportation is by magical circles, or spellcasters.)
SirAlexTheFirst: Anyways.
AndrewRogue: *she takes in the scenery as she follows*
Adm H Sopko: (Well, I never said I was...)
Adm H Sopko: (And we ARE. Remember? The maze place with Lea?)
SirAlexTheFirst: Counter guy bows, introducing a tall elf wearing a white and gold trim suit and odd black glasses.
SirAlexTheFirst: (So you are.)
SirAlexTheFirst: (twas just to avoid people screaming "But that's not new! You suck!")
AndrewRogue: (Would I do that?) "Good afternoon."
Sarcazmo47: But that's not new! You suck!
Adm H Sopko: ::Hunter feels a chill go through him as he passes through the door, the memory floating back in and out of his mind quickly as he looks to the elf::
Sarcazmo47: Zug zug the hive cluster is under attack!
SirAlexTheFirst: (Sorry. I keep thinking GIl is here.)
AndrewRogue: (Burn!)
Adm H Sopko: ((Sorry we remind you of Gil...)
SirAlexTheFirst: The priest regards you coldly. You think. Hard to tell. Then he growls, "Welcome. You're here for the rooms?"
Adm H Sopko: "Yes, if it is not too much trouble."
SirAlexTheFirst: "Fine. They're on the third floor. Try not to get anyone killed going up there."
SirAlexTheFirst: He pushes a small card into Hunter's hand, and promptly departs.
AndrewRogue: "...ah?" *she looks back to the others*
Adm H Sopko: ::He disregards the man's comment and looks at the card::
SirAlexTheFirst: Father Morden Luciane, Esq. Spiritual Leader of the Organization of Gabriel, Whittyre Branch.
SirAlexTheFirst: There is an engraved seal of Gabriel below that, with the word "Contact:.
SirAlexTheFirst: "
Adm H Sopko: (Was he wearing a circlet?)
SirAlexTheFirst: (No.)
SirAlexTheFirst: Counter Guy has gone off somewhere, leaving you alone in the sanctuary.
Adm H Sopko: ::He shrugs it off then, and takes out his wallet, depositing the card there and leading the way up to the rooms::
AndrewRogue: "...that was... strange."
SirAlexTheFirst: The afternoon sunlight shines through the window, making it look like Gabriel is glowing in firey awesomeness.
Adm H Sopko: "I suppose... From his card, he is Father Morden Luciane, head of the branch here in Whittrye, nd a sight less cool than Brother Joe..."
SirAlexTheFirst: Towards the front of the sanctuary, near the doors, are two small cylindrical rooms. One has an arrow pointing up, the other down. They do not appear to have floors or cielings.
AndrewRogue: "He seemed angry... and what are those?" *point*
Adm H Sopko: ::He sighs gently:: "There is always something about Whittyre that can make anyone feel like a country bumpkin." ::He studies the two rooms::
Sarcazmo47: Bandon walks into the one with the Up arrow.
SirAlexTheFirst: Bandon starts floating up.
Adm H Sopko: ::He shrugs, repeating the process::
Sarcazmo47: Are there numbers indicating what floor?
SirAlexTheFirst: The cylinder is well lit, and there are openings every twelve feet or so numbered 2, 3, and upwards several more floors.
Sarcazmo47: Any way to propel oneself?
AndrewRogue: *she stands in front of the thing tenatively... not looking comfortable at the lack of floor. She closes her eyes and steps*
Sarcazmo47: Handles on the walls?
SirAlexTheFirst: No, the walls are smooth and soft, almost padded.
SirAlexTheFirst: You can easily step out in the opening you desire to.
Sarcazmo47: Awsome.
Sarcazmo47: Out on 3.
SirAlexTheFirst: 3 is a hallway with lots of doors, numbered and looking like inn rooms, only much nicer.
Sarcazmo47: So, not really like inn rooms at all.
AndrewRogue: *she's more than happy to slip out, again looking uneasily at the empty cylinder* "That's amazing."
SirAlexTheFirst: More like a modern hotel room, with magical fixtures.
SirAlexTheFirst: Most of the doors you see are open, and the rooms empty (of people).
Adm H Sopko: "Does this mean we can take the rooms we want?"
AndrewRogue: *she shrugs* "I have no idea."
SirAlexTheFirst: (You can make a Knowledge: Customs, or Nobility and Royalty, to know this)
Adm H Sopko: (None the ranks)
*OnlineHost*: Sarcazmo47 rolled 1 20-sided die: 9
AndrewRogue: (Nothing for me.)
Sarcazmo47: 15.
Sarcazmo47: Nobility.
SirAlexTheFirst: Bandon knows that in some higher-class inns and other places, guests choose their own rooms.
AndrewRogue: (Gogo Bandon.)
Sarcazmo47: "It's....not unheard of among the wealthy or nobility for that sort of thing to be true. I guess they can afford to do it for everyone here."
AndrewRogue: "...we just pick?" *she goes up curiously to a door and tries to open it*
Adm H Sopko: "Well. I'm getting my own room. You decide for yourselves your plan." ::He walks to a close room on the right side and heads in::
SirAlexTheFirst: An unopened door?
Sarcazmo47: Close, not closed.
SirAlexTheFirst: That won't open for ya
SirAlexTheFirst: That was for Aria.
AndrewRogue: *Aria looks stupid and goes to an open door*
Adm H Sopko: (The free ones are open already...)
Sarcazmo47: Bandon waits to see where the two of them wind up.
AndrewRogue: *picks an empty room on the left side*
Sarcazmo47: *picks a room next to/close to it*
SirAlexTheFirst: Okay then.
SirAlexTheFirst: So
SirAlexTheFirst: Going to sleep then, already? Or...?
AndrewRogue: Just checking out the rooms I'd think. Aria wants dinner at least... <_<
Adm H Sopko: ::Hunter checks out the room, then heads back to the hall, having the same desire for food::
AndrewRogue: (So... what are the rooms like anyway?)
SirAlexTheFirst: The rooms are about 60x50 feet, and contain two large double beds, a table and chairs, and several light-emitting globes that float in the air, and can be pushed around or turned on or off with a touch.
Sarcazmo47: Larger on the inside than on the outside?
SirAlexTheFirst: Actually, they aren't.
AndrewRogue: *plays with the glove curiously*
AndrewRogue: *globe
Adm H Sopko: Windows?
SirAlexTheFirst: Yes, a large bay window that looks out onto the beautiful buildings outside.
SirAlexTheFirst: And a small restroom.
Adm H Sopko: ::He smiles:: "Very nice..."
AndrewRogue: *is quite impressed by the room* "Wow..."
SirAlexTheFirst: The rooms are also lined with a few plants growing from the floor, a shelf with some intricate glass carvings and flasks, and empty wall racks.
SirAlexTheFirst: The bedside tables have clock hands on them, and pen and paper in the drawers.
SirAlexTheFirst: Very nice rooms.
Adm H Sopko: Empty wall racks for things like weapons and armor?
SirAlexTheFirst: Yes.
AndrewRogue: *she'll start changing out of her armor and putting he pack up and all that*
AndrewRogue: *and she will presumably finish and walk out into the hall*
Adm H Sopko: ::Hunter's chain shirt could almost pass as a real shirt the way he wears it, so he figures it's pointless to put everything away. Besides, remembering the last city they were in, he'd rather stay in them. He
Adm H Sopko: heads out into the hall then::
AndrewRogue: "These are really nice rooms..."
Adm H Sopko: ::He nods::
AndrewRogue: "Do you think we can afford dinner here?"
Adm H Sopko: "I doubt we couldn't..."
AndrewRogue: "Everything just seems so elaborate... Have you ever been to Whittyre Hunter?"
Adm H Sopko: "Just once or twice... when I was younger... I don't remember much, really."
Sarcazmo47: Bandon looks exactly the same he did before.
blaine077713770: night all, must sleep for work
blaine077713770 has left the room.
AndrewRogue: "Well, I suppose standing here won't do anything. Should we explore a bit?"
Adm H Sopko: "Of course. A night on the town for us, it seems..."
AndrewRogue: (What time is it anyway?)
SirAlexTheFirst: 5
AndrewRogue: *she smiles and walks towards the tube-things* "Then let's look around."
Adm H Sopko: ::Follows, his persona from before seeming to have faded for the moment::
SirAlexTheFirst: Where're ya heading?
AndrewRogue: Er... picking a random direction and going that way?
Adm H Sopko: Yay!
AndrewRogue: Looking for an information booth?
SirAlexTheFirst: I was thinking more what floor.
AndrewRogue: Oh... uh... 1st? Ground floor?
AndrewRogue: YES! Logic dictates 1st floor. That's where we go!
SirAlexTheFirst: 1, then, which is where you were. And out the doors?
Adm H Sopko: Yep!
AndrewRogue: Yes. Because slow chat makes me sad.
SirAlexTheFirst: Okay then.
AndrewRogue: "Well, I guess at least one part of adventuring has been true... I'm getting to see the world."
SirAlexTheFirst: The street is right outside those big doors.
SirAlexTheFirst: And boy, is it empty. Very, very clean, though.
SirAlexTheFirst: Some of the sidewalk slabs emit a slight glow, and there's a billboard on the corner to your left that is displaying a map.
AndrewRogue: *Aria heads over to the map to examine it*
SirAlexTheFirst: The glowing tiles teleport you to the next one.
SirAlexTheFirst: Next tile, that is.
SirAlexTheFirst: So you get there in a few seconds.
SirAlexTheFirst: And, indeed, it's a map of the city, slowly scrolling around.
SirAlexTheFirst: The words "Press for more information" are shown at the top of the map, and several of the larger buildings and places on it are labeled.
AndrewRogue: *is going to be losing her balancing ability very quickly... and ends up leaning against a solid spot of the map* "This is... really really disorienting."
SirAlexTheFirst: The map changes to a zoomed in view of the area pressed upon, with a short written description.
AndrewRogue: *she uses the map to balance and look for eateries or something... not trying to look like a silly tourist*
AndrewRogue: (*boots Chat in face*)
SirAlexTheFirst has left the room.
coughingpuppy: Er....
AndrewRogue: ...
AndrewRogue: *vaguely wishes things would pick up over here...*
AndrewRogue: *or would have picked up over here*
Sarcazmo47: Eh?
Sarcazmo47: Isn't Chrome still running his game?
AndrewRogue: Yes, but I'm getting fully capable of doing two games at once.
Sarcazmo47: How's that going, by the way?
Adm H Sopko: Pretty well
Adm H Sopko: I saved us from getting absolutely butchered, probably...
AndrewRogue: A change of pace... *kidding*
SirAlexTheFirst has entered the room.
SirAlexTheFirst: Yay internet connection!
Adm H Sopko: Yay@
AndrewRogue: Yay!
SirAlexTheFirst: So
SirAlexTheFirst: What'd I miss?
SirAlexTheFirst: Bueller?
AndrewRogue: ...what was the last thing you got? I can safely say you didn't miss anything. Or something.
SirAlexTheFirst: ...
AndrewRogue: MYAR!
SirAlexTheFirst: Aria is leaning on the map.
AndrewRogue: Yep. Looking for eateries as she plays with the map and attempts to maintain the standing ability.
SirAlexTheFirst: A soft voice begins reading the text there. "The Temple of Gabriel is an organization best suited to fulfilling the spiritual needs of those who crave more excitement and challenge in their spirituality."
SirAlexTheFirst: Ah
AndrewRogue: (...I <3 Whittyre)
SirAlexTheFirst: "The most recommended eatery for visitors is Guz's Place, which specializes in a distinct new brand of Whittyrian cuisine. There you can enjoy dishes such as Vozhd Duck and Owlbear in Gryz Sauce."
Adm H Sopko: (No Motavians were harmed in the making of that dish)
AndrewRogue: *she'll continue to play with the map until someone else DOES SOMETHING*
SirAlexTheFirst: (Believe it or not, that was entirely coincidental.)
AndrewRogue: (<_<)
AndrewRogue: ...intrigued by this neat device, she starts touching random locations.
Adm H Sopko: ::Hunter meanwhile is looking down the streets he can::
SirAlexTheFirst: "The Kellogg Center for the Gifted is the educational facility of choice for promising young Artists. Whittyre extends its congratulations to valedictorian Reese...."
SirAlexTheFirst: You see a person here and there hopping from tile to tile, skipping through blocks in seconds.
AndrewRogue: *she shakes her head* "I wonder if there's a way to simply walk..."
SirAlexTheFirst: All of them are wearing different outfits; one with robes like that guy in the teleport, another with a translucent cape and cowl, yet another with turtle-ish green armor...
Adm H Sopko: ::He shrugs:: "Don't walk into the lights, I suppose"
AndrewRogue: "Do we want to try this Guz's place?"
Adm H Sopko: ::Thanks his stars that he changed now... the blue and black with the silver of the chain shirt over it may just let him:: "I don't know... isn't that rather high class?"
AndrewRogue: "I... uhm... don't know. Somewhere less so I guess." *she utilizes her map poking skills*
SirAlexTheFirst: "McLoki's provides affordable and fast dining for the fine citizen on the go. Remember, we love to see you laugh."
AndrewRogue: (*BOOT*)
Adm H Sopko: "Hmm... maybe a bit better than that... Look for a diner or tavern"
coughingpuppy: ((McLoki's? *laughing a lot*))
AndrewRogue: *poke* "Do you have any preferences Bandon?"
SirAlexTheFirst: "The Chromatic Tavern provides a semblance of life on the outside, with authentic Penoscot ale and exotic "Grub". Bar fights every Thursday night."
AndrewRogue: *chuckles* "Sounds like your favorite tavern in Asgard Bandon."
Sarcazmo47: AH!
AndrewRogue: (?)
Sarcazmo47: Bandon laughs. "Staged bar fights? I think Farns would have a siezure."
AndrewRogue: "Another try, or should we go there?"
Sarcazmo47: "Whatever sounds good to you."
AndrewRogue: "One more try then." *she decides the old fashioned way, closing her eyes and poking the map* "We'll go here!"
SirAlexTheFirst: "Whittyre National Laboratories is the world leader in arcane and technological studies. Your tax dollars at work - and at play!"
Adm H Sopko: ::He chuckles a bit::
AndrewRogue: "Uhm... I meant here." *pokes a more likely spot*
SirAlexTheFirst: "Gwendolyn's Restaurant is for the times when McLoki's is a bit too playful. Their Enhanced Potato is highly reccomended by international food critics, just the way David likes it."
Adm H Sopko: ::Shrugs:: Works for me
Adm H Sopko: ""
Sarcazmo47: Alex, I hope you're enjoying these descriptions as much as I am.
AndrewRogue: "...I guess we can try it. Enhanced potato..." *she trails off vaguely*
AndrewRogue: (I'm tempted to just keep playing with the map ^_^)
SirAlexTheFirst: (Potato +1. It's a Tater.)
AndrewRogue: (So... is there anyway to not teleport down the streets?)
SirAlexTheFirst: (Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew!)
SirAlexTheFirst: Oh, sure. Just walk around the glowing panels.
SirAlexTheFirst: There don't seem to be any vehicles in the streets, they're too narrow for that.
AndrewRogue: *Aria will utilize that tactic unless someone objects...*
Sarcazmo47: Bandon will not.
Sarcazmo47: Probably quickly leaving her behind.
SirAlexTheFirst: Indeed.
AndrewRogue: *she'll hustle but, yeah, get left behind and catch up at Wen... Gwendylon's...*
Adm H Sopko: ::Follows along::
SirAlexTheFirst: Righto then.
SirAlexTheFirst: Gwendolyn's turns out to be on the seventh floor of a tall spire, according to the sign on the front.
SirAlexTheFirst: A cylinder is again there for transport up, though this one is transparent and gives a nice view of the city for the entire ride up,
Adm H Sopko: ::Walks right into the spire, looking for another one of those transporters and heading right up::
AndrewRogue: *does the same and admires the city view and all that*
Sarcazmo47: Sooo....this is indeed a city in a desert?
SirAlexTheFirst: Yes, yes it is.
Sarcazmo47: Okay. I want to live here.
AndrewRogue: (This place rocks.)
SirAlexTheFirst: From the seventh floor balcony, you can indeed see the arcing dome over the city, and the blank desert where the buildings stop.
Adm H Sopko: (And Pernolde is Renaissance Italy and France, methinks)
AndrewRogue: "This is amazing..." *yeah... she fails to not appear as a silly little tourist*
Adm H Sopko: ::He smiles:: "I'd forgotten how neat this all was..."
AndrewRogue: "I've never seen anything like this before. Heck... I was impressed by that ice box thing."
AndrewRogue: *and we reach floor 6 before terrorists blow up the tube. Naw... we make it to the 7th floor*
Adm H Sopko: "Heh. Well, it's a good place to expand one's horizons."
SirAlexTheFirst: Up at the 7th, sure.
Sarcazmo47: Voip!
SirAlexTheFirst: Gwendolyn's is a lush establishment with red carpeted walls. Several humans and a few... other people... are enjoying meals that none of you recognize.
Adm H Sopko: One of the Four Horsemen orders a cheeseburger, and goes to sit with his buddies::
AndrewRogue: ...other people?
SirAlexTheFirst: A catperson, and what looks like a group of lizardmen, are taking up a few corner tables, laughing together.
Adm H Sopko: ::Walks up to whoever seats people::
SirAlexTheFirst: There don't seem to be any staff around.
SirAlexTheFirst: Nor any counter.
Sarcazmo47: Bandon willl find a table with a nice view.
SirAlexTheFirst: The tables that aren't occupied have menus projected onto their surface,
SirAlexTheFirst: .
Sarcazmo47: And seat himself.
AndrewRogue: *follows Bandon*
Adm H Sopko: ::Sits at the table they take::
Sarcazmo47: Bandon will look at the menu and press a finger on the Potato + 1.
SirAlexTheFirst: It appears in front of him.
Adm H Sopko: ::Looks over the menu for something to catch his eye. Maybe Penne with Vodka Sauce::
Sarcazmo47: He digs in, and offers a bite to Aria.
SirAlexTheFirst: They have Penne with Gryz Sauce.
AndrewRogue: *she accepts, unsure of what else to try* "Thank you Bandon."
Sarcazmo47: "Having trouble deciding?"
Adm H Sopko: ::Checks what kind of meat dishes they have::
AndrewRogue: "I... haven't seen most of this before. Have you? That potato is pretty good..."
SirAlexTheFirst: Many things, Hunter. Many things.
Sarcazmo47: He shakes his head. "It's really exciting. Get something you don't recongize at all!"
Adm H Sopko: ::Decides to be adventurous and gets that Duck and Owlbear in Gryz Sauce meal::
AndrewRogue: *she smiles and shrugs* "Why not?" *apply random finger poke*
Adm H Sopko: (It's liver and onions for Aria)
SirAlexTheFirst: They do have that here, oddly enough.
SirAlexTheFirst: And Aria gets...
SirAlexTheFirst: A large bowl of what looks like oatmeal.
Adm H Sopko: (Grits!)
AndrewRogue: "...oatmeal?" *trying a spoonful experimentally*
Adm H Sopko: ::Takes a bit of the duck and owlbear:: "Hmm... tasty... mild and subtle... it's like flavor that isn't there... Huh..."
SirAlexTheFirst: Maple and brown sugar oatmeal.
AndrewRogue: *she can't resist a slight smile with a lip-lick* "Its sweet. Do either of you want to try?"
Chromeus18: I suppose Jerri won't be needed tonight?
Adm H Sopko: ::He chuckles:: "No thanks."
AndrewRogue: "You Bandon?"
SirAlexTheFirst has left the room.
Chromeus18: in any case, i'm out now, later folks.
AndrewRogue: Adios Chrome.
Chromeus18 has left the room.
Adm H Sopko: Well, not like we still can't RP
AndrewRogue: I'm all up for that, ya'll are jsut so quiet.
Adm H Sopko: ::Keeps eating, intrigued by the taste of his meal:
AndrewRogue: ^_~
AndrewRogue: "How's your meal Hunter?"
Adm H Sopko: "Surprisingly good. I've never tried Owlbear before..."
AndrewRogue: "Owl-bear?"
Adm H Sopko: "It's a sort of odd crossbreed... think of a bear-sized owl.
Adm H Sopko: "
AndrewRogue: "...a giant owl?"
Adm H Sopko: "Sort of... only it behaves and is structured like a bear"
AndrewRogue: *Aria attempts to picture that for a moment before finally giving up and changing the subject* "What were Verity and Auerelia talking about when we left?"
Adm H Sopko: "Oh... when you guys left, the three of us hashed through some issues regarding my involvement in this whole thing; cleared some things up. It had to do with that."
AndrewRogue: "Oh?"
Adm H Sopko: ::He shrugs:: "It was a lot of questions like he asked you before we left."
AndrewRogue: *she nods and takes a bite or two of the oatmeal before she continues* "Did you get anything resolved?"
Adm H Sopko: "Yes and no. Personally I can say it was helpful. The rest lies with all of you."
AndrewRogue: "What do you mean?"
Adm H Sopko: "I'll put it plainly, Arianna... and for you too Bandon. Are you willing to trust me so much as to put your lives under my care and judgement? To follow my orders, regardless of what the situation may be sometimes? To let
Adm H Sopko: me carry the responsibility of not only myself, but of all of us on my shoulders?"
AndrewRogue: *she stares vacantly into space, putting the spoon down* "...I don't know."
Adm H Sopko: ::He nods:: "When you have the answer to that, you'll know the rest."
Adm H Sopko: ::He is looking at her now. The confusion that once clouded his gray eyes has cleared a great deal, leaving the quiet strength of stone::
AndrewRogue: "You must have had quite a talk."
Adm H Sopko: ::He nods again, returning to his meal:
AndrewRogue: *she pushes her bowl aside, her appettite diminished*
AndrewRogue: "So... do we have any idea what the pillar here is?"
SirAlexTheFirst has entered the room.
SirAlexTheFirst: GRRRR
Adm H Sopko: ::He shakes ahis head:: "Not a clue"
Adm H Sopko: (Yo. Missed a good conversation)
SirAlexTheFirst: (IM it to me.(
AndrewRogue: "Then we just hope it comes to us?"
Adm H Sopko: "Well, we'd be fools to expect that, despite the way the rest of them seem to drop into our laps... we'll do a bit of reading, some current events and history... local legends, new rumors etc..."
AndrewRogue: "Its been a while since we've hit the books... library hunting again?"
Adm H Sopko: ::He chuckles:: "I suppose so. Not like we couldn't use a bit of learning anyway."
AndrewRogue: *she nods* "I've been slacking in almost all my studies lately..."
Adm H Sopko: "Well... it's only been a few weeks since we were in Asgard, believe it or not... not like we've been completely out of practice."
AndrewRogue: "...was it really only such a short time ago?"
SirAlexTheFirst has left the room.
SirAlexTheFirst has entered the room.
Adm H Sopko: ::Nods::
SirAlexTheFirst: (Hah, cable's back up at last)
AndrewRogue: "It feels like it was ages ago..."
Adm H Sopko: "Yeah... gods... it's been almost half a year now that I've been on the road doing this..."
SirAlexTheFirst: (It has been?)
Adm H Sopko: ((I don't know... thats my best guess... 6-8 months)
SirAlexTheFirst: (Two, three months, maybe, by my reckoning.. but eh)
AndrewRogue: *she can't help but laugh gently* "And who knows how much longer it will last?"
Adm H Sopko: ::He shrugs:: "As long as it takes."
AndrewRogue: "So, should we pay and head out? Its probably getting too late for libraries. We could looks for something to do... but at this point, I think a night where nothing happens would be a relief."
SirAlexTheFirst: (Or until the world ends.)
Adm H Sopko: "I guess thats best... if we knew how."
Sarcazmo47: Bandon's answer to Hunter's questions is a flat out, "no."
AndrewRogue: (...that was delayed. But its nice to see you alive again Kirk.)
SirAlexTheFirst: Hunter's questions?
Adm H Sopko: (Shoulda just held it in)
Adm H Sopko: (Not that I expected Bandon to say yes anyway)
AndrewRogue: (His questions about whether Aria and Bandon would follow him and obey his orders.)
AndrewRogue: (Trust him fully and all that.) "What?"
Adm H Sopko: (::Really wishes he'd said it back then... Ah well. We'll bring it up later)
AndrewRogue: (Bummer, that would have been a fun debate.)
Adm H Sopko: (Doubtful.)
AndrewRogue: (:p)
AndrewRogue: (So uh... any obvious way to pay Alex? Like a check or bill or something?)
Adm H Sopko: "How... do we pay anyway?"
SirAlexTheFirst: There is no obvious way.
AndrewRogue: "Erm..." *she looks for a nearby patron to ask*
Adm H Sopko: They obviously use PayPal
AndrewRogue: (Even I can't use PayPal :p)
SirAlexTheFirst: There's a man in a suit eating by himself, and that group of cat and lizards.
SirAlexTheFirst: Everyone else looks kinda busy talking.
AndrewRogue: ...hmm... *she'll turn towards the suit guy* "Excuse me, sir?"
SirAlexTheFirst: He snaps a look over at you. "Yes?"
AndrewRogue: "Sorry to bother you but... how do we pay? We're new in town."
SirAlexTheFirst: He takes a long time looking at Aria from head to toe (mostly center torso, though), and nods. "I see. When you get up to leave, the table will show you your bill, and you tell it your account number."
SirAlexTheFirst: "It's really quite simple."
AndrewRogue: (...is she the Victoria Seras of this world or something?) "Account number...?"
Adm H Sopko: (No. Aria's breasts don't get bigger as the series goes on. Unless Bandon is spiking her drink like the butler does for Nami on OP)
SirAlexTheFirst: "Yes. You do remember it, right?"
AndrewRogue: *she looks vaguely towards the others* "I... haven't even heard of these account numbers before..."
Adm H Sopko: ::Hunter pulls the business card out of his pocket and checks it for anything::
SirAlexTheFirst: There's a speck of dust in the corner.
SirAlexTheFirst: Nothing that could be related to an 'account', and no numbers.
Adm H Sopko: ::Puts it away::
AndrewRogue: "So... what if you don't have one of these... these account numbers?"
SirAlexTheFirst: The man sighs. "Well... if they didn't give you one when you came in... ....... "
AndrewRogue: (Perfect timing.)
SirAlexTheFirst: "...ah, then you're probably here illegally. So you don't need to worry about it."
AndrewRogue: "...what?"
SirAlexTheFirst: The guy is starting to look rather scared of you. "I mean... ah, just leave cash on the table, I suppose. They might take it."
Adm H Sopko: ::Seeing this, he tries to calm him down:: "Listen... we're just here on business for the Temple of Gabriel, see?" ::Shows him the business card::
Adm H Sopko: "Of course... I am not the Father... but he is the one who gave me that..."
SirAlexTheFirst: *strained smile* "Ah... I see. Well, you should, um, go to the bank and get an account, then."
AndrewRogue: *she's starting to look nervously at Hunter* ~This is unbelieveable...~
Adm H Sopko: ~Yes... quite.~ "Could you do us an enormous favor and pay for our meals? We'll give you the physical cash here and now, plus a little extra for your troubles... we just don't have an account..."
AndrewRogue: "Yes, please?" (Diplomacy?)
Adm H Sopko: Yes... diplomacy
SirAlexTheFirst: Ye-aaaah.
AndrewRogue: 5 1/2 ranks in it, and I demand a bonus if people are going to keep staring at her chest :p
Adm H Sopko: +8 here...
AndrewRogue: Bah on your non CC ranks <_< Or skill points. Or syngery. Go for it!
AndrewRogue: I'll... uh... assist.
*OnlineHost*: Adm H Sopko rolled 1 20-sided die: 4
Adm H Sopko: UGH
Adm H Sopko: 12...
AndrewRogue: ...can I roll to assist or possibly distract from Hunter's not so good check?
SirAlexTheFirst: Yes.
*OnlineHost*: AndrewRogue rolled 1 20-sided die: 2
AndrewRogue: ...
AndrewRogue: *kicks AIM*
Adm H Sopko: AIM's mother is a whore
AndrewRogue: ...can her shirt conveniently rip or something?
Adm H Sopko: ...
SirAlexTheFirst: ...
AndrewRogue: ...
Adm H Sopko: ...
SirAlexTheFirst: How... about.... not...
SirAlexTheFirst: "Er, sure!"
AndrewRogue: <_< I was kidding folks. Relax.
SirAlexTheFirst: The man presses his table a few times quickly, then hops over to yours and does the same, nods to Aria, and quickly strides out into the cylinders.
Adm H Sopko: ::Stands there with the money in his hands:: "What the hell just happened?"
AndrewRogue: "...thank you..." ~We need to do something fast I think.~
Adm H Sopko: ~Right... I say we go to the bank and call it a night in the church and work on adjusting ourselves into this city first.~
SirAlexTheFirst: The table beeps softly.
Adm H Sopko: ::Looks down at it::
AndrewRogue: *does as well*
SirAlexTheFirst: "Payment denied - already covered by: Gabriel, Church of.
SirAlexTheFirst: "
Adm H Sopko: "Well... there is our answer to that question."
AndrewRogue: *she breathes a sigh of relief*
Adm H Sopko: "I guess the bank is out of the equation... but we should still work with the church at adjusting."
AndrewRogue: *she nods* "I don't want people thinking we're here illegally... Why do you think they're tightening security anyway?"
Adm H Sopko: ::He shrugs and smiles:: ~Maybe they heard we were coming?~
Adm H Sopko: ~Sort of a pre-throw us in jail security tightening?~
AndrewRogue: *she looks at him flatly* "Not funny."
Adm H Sopko: ::He shrugs it off:: "I don't know, honestly. I'm sure hitting the libraries or at least looking for some sort of news on current events will reveal it"
AndrewRogue: "Well then. Why don't we head out before we cause any more problems?"
Adm H Sopko: "Sounds good."
coughingpuppy has left the room.
Adm H Sopko: (I think we can end there... I'm tired)
SirAlexTheFirst: (All right then.)
AndrewRogue: A'ight. There's a 99% chance of me not being around till Monday.
SirAlexTheFirst: (Nurse Kirkachu and Stacmistress have been dead pretty much all anyways.)
SirAlexTheFirst: Whaat?
AndrewRogue: I'm visiting relatives in New Jersey, so my internet connection is pretty much, uh, not there.
SirAlexTheFirst: Ah.
AndrewRogue: I shooooould be back Monday evening.
SirAlexTheFirst: Wellll I start working night shift, starting next Monday.
Adm H Sopko: Hey, I'm in NJ and I have a connection
SirAlexTheFirst: Sooooo.
Adm H Sopko: Heh
Adm H Sopko: No game for 2 weeks!
SirAlexTheFirst: No game for.... longer than that...
Adm H Sopko: Ah
Adm H Sopko: We shoulda went out on last nights...
AndrewRogue: Noooooo... damn. Figures just when we were getting good again. Ah well, as they say.
AndrewRogue: Hindsight is 20/20. Last night would have been a much better break-setter.
Adm H Sopko: Yep. Thems the breaks. Later guys.
AndrewRogue: Night'o
Adm H Sopko has left the room.
SirAlexTheFirst: Night...
SirAlexTheFirst: I kinda thought we had a week left...
AndrewRogue: Sorry -_- Feel free to run without me.
SirAlexTheFirst: ...can't, really
SirAlexTheFirst: Aria's more or less the official main character now
AndrewRogue: ...when the hell did she become offical main character?
SirAlexTheFirst: Pretty much when Gil died.
AndrewRogue: How's that work? O_o
SirAlexTheFirst: I cannot help but see the comparison to FFX, in that Hunter is Tidus and Aria is Yuna.
SirAlexTheFirst: Everyone knows who the real main is.
AndrewRogue: Yuna? *never played FFX*
SirAlexTheFirst: Ah
SirAlexTheFirst: Tidus is the "main character", and whines a lot, and says "This is my story." a lot.
SirAlexTheFirst: However, he is in fact almost totally irrelevant to the actual plot, which really centers around Yuna, the female lead.
SirAlexTheFirst: This is even shown when you talk to NPCs - guards greet your party with "Greetings, exalted summoner" (meaning Yuna).
AndrewRogue: Heh.
SirAlexTheFirst: I don't suppose you'll have any freedom of transportation during this week?
AndrewRogue: I wouldn't bet a dollar on it.
SirAlexTheFirst: Or that these relatives would be amenable to crazy berks rocking in for a day or two and/or stealing you?
AndrewRogue: Mrrr... I can try, but I definitely wouldn't count on it. Sadly my parents and/or relatives can be goofy that way sometimes.
SirAlexTheFirst: Yes, but... a whole week? That's a pretty dang long time to be cooped up with people...
AndrewRogue: Not quite a week, but we have a lot of relatives on the east coast. Wanna toss me somewhere I can reach you? I'll happilly see if I can do something. It sounds cruel but we, quite seriously, are running out of friends and family
AndrewRogue: out there.
SirAlexTheFirst: Did you just say that you have a lot of relatives out there and you're running out of them, in the same post?
AndrewRogue: ...wow... I did.
AndrewRogue: O_o My brain is shutting down.
SirAlexTheFirst: Yeah, okay.
AndrewRogue: Lemme re-work that.
SirAlexTheFirst: Do you still have that phone number?
AndrewRogue: I have no idea what the hell we have planned. My dad somehow always finds a way to make it an insanely busy several days. And... I don't think I do. Lemme look.
AndrewRogue: ...it seems to be MIA on my comp, along with Kirk's number.
AndrewRogue: BAH! *kicks file directories*
SirAlexTheFirst: Ehehehe
SirAlexTheFirst: I don't think I have it either...
SirAlexTheFirst: Well, I have Kirk's cell
SirAlexTheFirst: 503-332-8457 for that
SirAlexTheFirst: And the house here, I know it's 724-???-0676
AndrewRogue: That's not suuuper useful :p
SirAlexTheFirst: Wait, I think we have it here...
AndrewRogue: I suppose given 9000 or so tries I'ed eventually get it.
SirAlexTheFirst: 724-479-0351
SirAlexTheFirst: Or 0676 for the last digits
SirAlexTheFirst: It doesn't matter which number you call
SirAlexTheFirst: Don't ask me why they have two
AndrewRogue: Interesting that. So hey, where basically are ya'll anyway?
SirAlexTheFirst: Indiana, Pennsylvania.
SirAlexTheFirst: Bout an hour eastnortheast of Pittsburgh
AndrewRogue: Hmm... where's that in comparison to Newark, NJ?
SirAlexTheFirst: http://mq-mapgend.websys.aol.com/mqmap gend?MQMapGenRequest=FDR2dmwjDE %3byt2l%
SirAlexTheFirst: Y'all driving or flying?
AndrewRogue: ...that website disagrees with me. We're flying into NJ.
AndrewRogue: Aside from that trip down the I-80 E it ain't so bad ^_^
SirAlexTheFirst: Definitely doable
AndrewRogue: Indeed. I'll chat it up with mi padre, explain that I am going to college in 2 months so I should be perfectly capable of doing such, and see what I can do to meet up with ya'll.
SirAlexTheFirst: Huh wha
SirAlexTheFirst: I was thinking of driving over there
SirAlexTheFirst: But
SirAlexTheFirst: Well, we'll see
SirAlexTheFirst: Cause I have, yknow, a car and all, and Soppy is over around there too
AndrewRogue: Hmm... so you guys would borrow me for a day or so basically?
SirAlexTheFirst: I don't know
SirAlexTheFirst: Making two trips there and back is not so hot
AndrewRogue: Good point. Y'know, lemme first figure out if he has a problem with meeting some friends out there and, provided he doesn't, we can arrange something.
AndrewRogue: *with me
SirAlexTheFirst: Indeed.
SirAlexTheFirst: Must whack Soppy on head too.
SirAlexTheFirst: Anyways.... questions/comments on game?
AndrewRogue: That's the sucky part of being a dependent... requiring parents and all. Anyway, it was disappointingly slow. I wish Chrome had not picked tonight to run.
SirAlexTheFirst: ...............
SirAlexTheFirst: It would be nice if people, yknow, told me these things once in a while :P
AndrewRogue: Oh... and I offically want to bear your children because of your unadultered awesomeness with the city of Whittyre. ...and you didn't know Chrome was doing crap?
SirAlexTheFirst: I wondered why it was so slow after the cries of "Game tomorrow? GAME WHEE!"
SirAlexTheFirst: Nooopr
SirAlexTheFirst: *noope
SirAlexTheFirst: I thought he was still high on paint or whatnot
AndrewRogue: Hey, I was moving at good speed. I'm getting reasonable at multi-RPing.
AndrewRogue: <_<
SirAlexTheFirst: You're in....
SirAlexTheFirst: this...
SirAlexTheFirst: and Kirk's game....
SirAlexTheFirst: and Chrome's game....
SirAlexTheFirst: and running your own....
AndrewRogue: This, Kirk, Chrom, Mine Own. Yes, my sanity is strained heacily.
SirAlexTheFirst: See I don't know when those games run. Nobody talks about them around me.
AndrewRogue: ...they don't?
SirAlexTheFirst: Apparently Kirk was running his game last night or night before, too, and I found out after it was over
AndrewRogue: Kirk runs Sunday and Sunday only.
AndrewRogue: Chrome... I have no idea.
AndrewRogue: I... perfer to run Friday nights, although I'm fearing my DMing ability is dying simply due to my play preference.
SirAlexTheFirst: I will never understand how people can be playing in more than two games at the same time.
AndrewRogue: ...you have to be halfway insane. I really need to drop two games.
SirAlexTheFirst: That's probably true.
SirAlexTheFirst: Hmm.
SirAlexTheFirst: The inklings of plot congeal.
AndrewRogue: So how did Aria go from being "goofy new girl" to "offical main character, yo" anyway? And yes! Your game was just getting super awesome again ;_;
SirAlexTheFirst: Well, the short answer is that everyone else died, sucked, or just plain didn't show up.
SirAlexTheFirst: The shorter answer is that you cared more, and that's just what happened.
AndrewRogue: Go winning by default I guess <_<
SirAlexTheFirst: But yeah, plot ready.
SirAlexTheFirst: Any idea what else you'll drop, out of curiosity?
AndrewRogue: Huh?
SirAlexTheFirst: If you're dropping two games?
AndrewRogue: It will, in all liklihood end up being mine and Chrome's. It would take death threats for me to drop yours, and I like the crew in Kirk's better.
SirAlexTheFirst: ....
SirAlexTheFirst: Aight, I gotta stop trying to be tactful.
AndrewRogue: Unless of course I quit getting headaches following every session I run ^_^ ...and waaaaaaaah?
SirAlexTheFirst: When I talked about me getting plot idea there, that meant, plot to get Aria gone so you could drop this and regain sanity
AndrewRogue: Oh. That would be mean and make me very sad ;_;
SirAlexTheFirst: Oh?
AndrewRogue: You want me to be blunt? I abso-posi-tiv-lutely adore your campaign. Why do you think I've been saccing Saturday/Monday/etc nights for so long specifically to ensure I could be around the compute from the now totally unoffical start
SirAlexTheFirst: It is the game out of the four that runs the most often and the longest, but.... well okay I can't honestly say it sucks that much, but it's not too great
SirAlexTheFirst: ...
AndrewRogue: ing time of 6pm PST to 3 hours before I have to go to school?
SirAlexTheFirst: Aren't you out of school yet? Didn't you just graduate?
AndrewRogue: Yes I did. But there were several nights where I was up until 2 or so hours before I ahd to get up for school. I was just making a blanket statement.
SirAlexTheFirst: Mrrr.
SirAlexTheFirst: Sorry...
AndrewRogue: Meh, didn't affect me in the least Alex. I'm a big boy.
SirAlexTheFirst: Tell your parents that.
SirAlexTheFirst: Also add that they're flying you out there to visit their friends, so, yeah
AndrewRogue: Indeed I will.
SirAlexTheFirst: Offer to stay behind and housesit.
SirAlexTheFirst: Fight dirty.
SirAlexTheFirst: You have to break out sometime.
SirAlexTheFirst: I did it... what, shortly after Eagle, I guess.
SirAlexTheFirst: It is hard. But it must be done.
SirAlexTheFirst: Anyways...
AndrewRogue: Indeed. Its just frustrating simply because they rarely ever bothered to set limitations on me.
AndrewRogue: Ah well... if nothing else I suppose I will shatter the restraints of dependency in... almost two months to the day.
SirAlexTheFirst: Brutality meter on
AndrewRogue: Oh dear. *blocks*
SirAlexTheFirst: Oh
SirAlexTheFirst: Never mind then
AndrewRogue: ...?
SirAlexTheFirst: Oh, you meant fighting game block
AndrewRogue: Yeah.
AndrewRogue: It was a joke.
AndrewRogue: Just not a very funny one. So, please, continue.
SirAlexTheFirst: Well, I was giong to say you should drop this game because its quality is not as good as the others, but I find myself unable to honestly say that, even adding in my bouts of self-deprecation.
AndrewRogue: *counter-breaks* Yep. Your's is the best I'm in.
SirAlexTheFirst: This is mainly because.... well...
SirAlexTheFirst: I haven't seen Chrome's game but I don't think I need to
AndrewRogue: I'm rather disappointed by the players.
SirAlexTheFirst: Chrome is around here because sometimes, occasionally, when he's not high or dead or gone, he can pull out amazing RP. Like he did a couple nights ago.
AndrewRogue: *nods*
SirAlexTheFirst: Most of the time, though, he's not around, or crude and sucky.
SirAlexTheFirst: I lack faith in consistency there.
SirAlexTheFirst: Kirk's game...
SirAlexTheFirst: The people there are cool. I know this because the majority of them are either my players, or more people from the college D&D group.
AndrewRogue: Indeed.
SirAlexTheFirst: However, despite being cool people, they are not the best roleplayers ever, especially online. And the game itself... is... just...
SirAlexTheFirst: Boring.
SirAlexTheFirst: To tears.
SirAlexTheFirst: I could not observe it for more than five minutes without going insane.
AndrewRogue: ...thinking about it, I don't think I need to worry about that one. There is demand for it to go table top anyway.
SirAlexTheFirst: Yes.
SirAlexTheFirst: Kirk is also all too willing to sacrifice its quality.
SirAlexTheFirst: I can barely, BARELY see playing two games at once.
SirAlexTheFirst: It's really really really slow and you can't get into the zone for either but I could do it.
AndrewRogue: And somehow I have a very distinct feeling it will go that. So, meh, that's prolly going to the cut list too.
SirAlexTheFirst: Kirk however has no qualms about DMing and playing at the same time.
SirAlexTheFirst: I don't think you can do that.
SirAlexTheFirst: I don't think Kirk can do that. I couldn't do it. I don't think Gygax or insert DM legend here could.
SirAlexTheFirst: So... yeah.
AndrewRogue: Heh.
AndrewRogue: I know I can't do it.
SirAlexTheFirst: Your game is beset by you not really wanting to run it.
SirAlexTheFirst: And it started out every bit as boring as Kirk's.
SirAlexTheFirst: This may or may not be due to the fact that it had the same freakin' player base.
AndrewRogue: *nods sadly* I just can't feel like I DM well, so it simply becomes a chore/headache. *gestures* And of course, you make a solid point.
SirAlexTheFirst: I decided to play Malk Catgirl because I just could not stand seeing my friends play this stuff anymore and did not want to be rude and say "Hey, all your other games suck, really hard" so I did that to inject awesome
AndrewRogue: Thank you. That cinches it. I'm pulling the plug on my game ^_^
SirAlexTheFirst: It has not worked out too very well
SirAlexTheFirst: That makes me sad
SirAlexTheFirst: I liked playing her and had plans for her
SirAlexTheFirst: However, the other PCs started killing each other for no good reason, soooo.....
AndrewRogue: ...the problem is A- You're right about the game being lacking. B- I can't handle the players (see said session). C- I simply cannot end a session with a feeling of satisfaction.
SirAlexTheFirst: I would like to play in it when it is readjusted with better PCs.
SirAlexTheFirst: I cannot create throwaway characters
AndrewRogue: Mrr... I suppose I can put the game on a temporary hiatus.
SirAlexTheFirst: Apparently every other RPer in the world has a wealth of character concepts flying around in their head, and they just want to play this or that in a couple games so they make a million campaigns which go nowhere.
SirAlexTheFirst: That model makes me sad.
AndrewRogue: Mrr... *looks at the ground shamefully*
SirAlexTheFirst: I've come up with........... four characters.
SirAlexTheFirst: Ever.
SirAlexTheFirst: One is Nellix.
SirAlexTheFirst: Two more overlap with each other; one of these is Hine.
SirAlexTheFirst: The other overlaps a little bit with Nellix (though not much), and is somewhat more suited to an evil campaign.
SirAlexTheFirst: In eight years of thinking, those are all.
SirAlexTheFirst: So, I can't really comprehend that other model.
AndrewRogue: I'm one of those naughty folk with way too many ideas for their own good. However, I have a tendency to shoot them off in other directions, art or writing or something.
SirAlexTheFirst: I am of course rambling on and on Picard style
AndrewRogue: And meh, its no worse then I can get.
SirAlexTheFirst: However, I have the power of Not Care right now.
SirAlexTheFirst: Your game has potential.
SirAlexTheFirst: Mine is rapidly losing it.
AndrewRogue: Is it?
SirAlexTheFirst: We are in all honesty down to two players and three half players.
AndrewRogue: Me/Soppy? Chrome/Kirk/Staci?
SirAlexTheFirst: Yes.
AndrewRogue: *waves a victory flag*
AndrewRogue: I can see the problem.
SirAlexTheFirst: It's been nearly a year, and things are still nowhere near completion, though the pace would have picked up rapidly.
SirAlexTheFirst: Quality....
SirAlexTheFirst: I don't know why there are so few good roleplayers.
SirAlexTheFirst: Maybe people are just beholden to the D&D system.
SirAlexTheFirst: Maybe they just don't have the Charisma score for it.
AndrewRogue: I... don't know. The few games I played in before yours were all pretty standard. And apparently I'm a good RPer somehow. Go figure.
SirAlexTheFirst: Either way, I've let in a massive number of people over the run, and you see the number of good roleplayers remaining.
AndrewRogue: ...wow, a lot of people have come and gone, haven't they?
SirAlexTheFirst: You care about doing it well.
SirAlexTheFirst: And you have the intelligence to know the way, the wisdom to see the way, and the charisma to do the way.
AndrewRogue: *chuckles* Thanks for the complimentary statement.
AndrewRogue: Weird fact: I bought my 3rd Edition PHB (my first RPing book) on the East Coast. Go figure huh.
SirAlexTheFirst: i am a bad roleplayer example. i do not believe in description and do not care about making things look gud or porfesssunal. story? what is taht? i do not really care.
AndrewRogue: *shudders at the atrocious typing*
SirAlexTheFirst: There have been a few other good roleplayers besides you I have known.
SirAlexTheFirst: They have all fallen to personal problems, rather quickly (or in one case, slowly.)
SirAlexTheFirst: Soon, I shall, too. And you are already showing the initial signs.
AndrewRogue: Mmm...? Care to share? I'm sorry, it just piques my interest, no matter how rude that sounds.
AndrewRogue: *elaborate
AndrewRogue: *elaborate, not share
SirAlexTheFirst: There were Vire and Shinobi Xero.
SirAlexTheFirst: Xero was kicked out by his abusive mother and forced to work 60 hour weeks and spend the other hours in a hole in the wall mall college.
SirAlexTheFirst: Vire vanished from the internet one day. God knows what happened to him.
SirAlexTheFirst: There was Evrain.
SirAlexTheFirst: You may have heard about him.
AndrewRogue: ...the name rings a bell.
SirAlexTheFirst: He, too, did not last to the end, and you will never see him on the internet again.
SirAlexTheFirst: He has forsworn it, believing it better that he get on with real life and leave imagination behind. I weep for him, but I respect his decision.
SirAlexTheFirst: There is Gorth, who was a good if flawed roleplayer.
SirAlexTheFirst: He moved to Alaska and now spends his time working and getting high.
SirAlexTheFirst: Chrome used to be a much better roleplayer.
SirAlexTheFirst: I don't accurately know what he does with his time now, but he talks about massive job hunting and... well, the paint speaks for itself.
AndrewRogue: Ventalation is good.
SirAlexTheFirst: Screamer did not have problems, per se, but he was called up by the Guard and sent to Afghanistan.
SirAlexTheFirst: I believe he is still there, last I heard.
SirAlexTheFirst: Though he does pop on occasionally on a base computer.
SirAlexTheFirst: Popichuelo has turned to... I know not what. He seems to want to follow in Gorth's footsteps.
SirAlexTheFirst: Lan is a weed dealer - I need not say more.
AndrewRogue: Not really.
SirAlexTheFirst: Beowulf became addicted to Everquest. A quick check of HoG shows that he still plays it 6+ hours a day.
AndrewRogue: Unf... even I didn't play that much.
SirAlexTheFirst: My list is nearly exhausted.
SirAlexTheFirst: You are yet young.
AndrewRogue: *chuckles weakly*
SirAlexTheFirst: College, however, has a tendancy to murder people. I would predict Berkely would do it even worse. Plus, you will soon find yourself running out of time to secure a future.
SirAlexTheFirst: Either you will turn to writing, or another career... or you will not, and withdraw from RP as well as you panic.
SirAlexTheFirst: And myself, well. I fit into the latter half of that last category.
AndrewRogue: *sighs* Indeed.
SirAlexTheFirst: I will graduate as a B student at best, never grasping an edge, and bounce from menial job to menial job until I become... I don't know. Maybe a technician somewhere.
SirAlexTheFirst: In the meantime I will have retreated from family, professionals, and eventually friends, out of shame.
AndrewRogue: You know Alex, you remind me a frightening amount of myself.
SirAlexTheFirst: I AM you, one year older, and with higher dreams - and a longer ways to fall from them.
AndrewRogue: There's a thought. *shrugs helplessly* I can't really cosnule you anymore then I can myself, especially considering that you have experience I lack.
AndrewRogue: So I guess the best I can say is be more confident and make things work out for you.
SirAlexTheFirst: Evrain possessed the dedication to walk away to a future. I do not.
AndrewRogue: Do you have to wholly walk away though?
SirAlexTheFirst: You have to have the dedication.
SirAlexTheFirst: Maybe you do.
SirAlexTheFirst: I have seen hints of it.
AndrewRogue: Oh? I wish I felt that way Alex. And I wish you could feel that. But I suppose time will tell and we will see what happens. Aske me again in 6 months I guess.
SirAlexTheFirst: I don't know anyone who has succeded without giving up imagination. There are some few, some vrey few, of the world.
SirAlexTheFirst: Perhaps you are one.
SirAlexTheFirst: I used to believe that it was possible for me to do such.
AndrewRogue: And now you don't?
SirAlexTheFirst: I tried
SirAlexTheFirst: And failed.
SirAlexTheFirst: I still hold out hope for a future, but that hope now seems like merely a hope, where before I was certain.
SirAlexTheFirst: And as for imagination - I don't possess that either.
AndrewRogue: Well then, hold out that hope no matter what. As long as it exists, you haven't failed.
SirAlexTheFirst: I know.
AndrewRogue: And Alex, you're more imaginative then me. So if you somehow think I'm one who might have this potential, then I don't see how you can't see it in yourself.
SirAlexTheFirst: That is not true.
AndrewRogue: Oh?
SirAlexTheFirst: I can assemble things. I cannot create them.
AndrewRogue: And what have you seen me create?
SirAlexTheFirst: Everything I have, everything I am, is an imitation and a compilation. I hope that it may be imbued with a spark of... awesomeness. But even as I do so I know it is impossible.
SirAlexTheFirst: A character. A world.
SirAlexTheFirst: A story
SirAlexTheFirst: I don't know that you have it. Maybe you aren't any more creative than I (though I hope not).
SirAlexTheFirst: I have seen greatness.
SirAlexTheFirst: I have been a part of it.
SirAlexTheFirst: I cannot equal it.
SirAlexTheFirst: Nothing truly can, of course.
AndrewRogue: ...?
SirAlexTheFirst: You cannot measure greatness on a scale.
SirAlexTheFirst: Nothing can ever compare with it directly.
SirAlexTheFirst: All you can do is be great in other ways.
SirAlexTheFirst: I don't see myself achieving even that. But I do see you doing so.
SirAlexTheFirst: *rereads it*
AndrewRogue: *holds his arms out to his side* Time will tell and we will see whether I can live up to these expectations you see in me. But enough of this self-deprication fest.
SirAlexTheFirst: Haaa. I'm a fool.
AndrewRogue: ...?
SirAlexTheFirst: Just, sillyness.
SirAlexTheFirst: Life will proceed.
AndrewRogue: *chuckles* Since this has been thoroughly depressing at many levels, lemme bring this back to a meaningless level.
SirAlexTheFirst: The best is forged in such.
SirAlexTheFirst: *rereads further*
SirAlexTheFirst: And yet I am not stopping.
SirAlexTheFirst: Why not?
AndrewRogue: What?
SirAlexTheFirst: Why don't I quit now? Stop the game, it can't turn out well. Stop everything and get away now, instead of risking a slow decline?
AndrewRogue: *shrugs* I don't know. But as you consider such, lemme say this:
AndrewRogue: I don't care what you have to say about it: I have looked forward to your campaign every week for the last 9 months. Every. Blessed. Week.
AndrewRogue: Even now, I eagerly anticipate the next game. I'm always disappointed to know I can't possibly arrange to make it, and even worse, an approaching hiatus.
AndrewRogue: *reading* Even if it was the bare bones session where it ended up being more OOC banter then anything, I've loved every moment of it.
AndrewRogue: And then... there's moments like this and the Eternal Moment where it becomes something more. *shrugs* That was beautiful Alex.
AndrewRogue: But its 7am where you are, and I appear to have lost you, so perhaps that's enough for tonight. One must limit meaningful conversation or it runs away with one's spirit.
SirAlexTheFirst: Delete it, now, or bury it. No other soul has seen that. I thought no other ever would.
SirAlexTheFirst: I'm fully awake.
AndrewRogue: Then I consider it an honor that you would show it with me. However, I will not delete. I will bury it and keep it with me, but I will not let it vanish.
AndrewRogue: *share
SirAlexTheFirst: Don't give it to others. Please. It is special to me.
AndrewRogue: *crosses his heart* It will go no further then myself. I guard equally vital secrets to others, and yours will remain such.
SirAlexTheFirst: I'm quite awake. Crying, but that cannot be helped.
AndrewRogue: Oh? I apologize if I have gone too far.
SirAlexTheFirst: No.
SirAlexTheFirst: Just rereading that.
AndrewRogue: Ah.
SirAlexTheFirst: I don't think I'll ever be able to read it without doing so. But I'm silly.
AndrewRogue: No sillier then myself. That was beautiful.
SirAlexTheFirst: Enough. There is hope for us yet.
AndrewRogue: *laughs uproariously*
SirAlexTheFirst: Hm?
AndrewRogue: Maybe its the hour, but that statement is perfectly wonderous.
AndrewRogue: I would joyfully leap up and hug you if I were in the locale at this very moment.
SirAlexTheFirst: Heh.
AndrewRogue: As long as you can find a way to be happy and enjoy yourself, life is a success. Enough with the depression and angst!
SirAlexTheFirst: Angsting and sharing my fondest memory... ha, what have we come to. Enough, indeed.
AndrewRogue: Its cheesy, but I always look to the song Watashi Ni Happy Birthday at times like this.
AndrewRogue: Odore yo Clap Your Hands kyou kara ha... something akin to Dance about and clap your hands because today's a brand new day.
SirAlexTheFirst: That song IS cheesy. You should be looking to "May it Be" from LOTR. :P
SirAlexTheFirst: Kidding of course.
SirAlexTheFirst: Bouncy kid.
AndrewRogue: :p I wuv Nuku.
AndrewRogue: *vaguely wishes he could hunt down a copy of Yume Hurry Up though*
SirAlexTheFirst: Well
AndrewRogue: Wow... that just goes to show even I was being serious. I haven't used a smilie for several pages.
AndrewRogue: So to fix that...
SirAlexTheFirst: Oh, dear.
AndrewRogue: <_< ^_^ >_> -_- O_o O_O o_O o_o X_X x_x X_x
AndrewRogue: ^_^0
SirAlexTheFirst: GAINAX'D!
AndrewRogue: Whew, outta my system.
SirAlexTheFirst: Anyways.
SirAlexTheFirst: Apparently people like my game.
AndrewRogue: It does seem that way.
SirAlexTheFirst: That's beautiful. But totally irrelevant and useless.
AndrewRogue: Mainly. But I find, at least for me, a good portion of life is irrelevant and useless.
SirAlexTheFirst: Liking it is immaterial. Caring about it, now. The more people care about it, the better it is.
AndrewRogue: Hey, you should know I care for your game like a child ^_~
AndrewRogue: Or a Cat-Girl even!
AndrewRogue: A Cat-Girl-Child!
SirAlexTheFirst: And that is why you are owning it up.
AndrewRogue: I dunno. I just <3 Aria. She's everything right with the world or some such sentimental crap. She's the perfect me.
AndrewRogue: ...I wonder if you could get away iwth feeding a Cat-Girl-Child sardines...
SirAlexTheFirst: Probably not.
SirAlexTheFirst: Aria is the perfect you? That I doubt.
AndrewRogue: Not really. I just say it because I can :p
AndrewRogue: Like so many characters she is merely an extrapolated characteristic, singled out, fleshed and given the essence of life ^_^
SirAlexTheFirst: More than that.
AndrewRogue: Heh. Aria has definitely become her own entity.
AndrewRogue: Oh, wanna know a silly yet frightening RP related fact?
SirAlexTheFirst: ?
AndrewRogue: Kiyone, my original low-wisdom girl, whom I used as a basis for Arianna in many ways and has taken a new life in my writing is appropriately set up in a sweet little romance with a pacifist cleric.
AndrewRogue: I giggle when I think about that.
SirAlexTheFirst: Dot. Dot. Freakin dot.
AndrewRogue: Do you not find that amusing?
AndrewRogue: ^_^
SirAlexTheFirst: I do.
AndrewRogue: However, Kiyone and Leon are both very fundamentally different from Arianna and Bandon. The parallels are scary though.
AndrewRogue: ...speaking of Bandon-dear, Kirk is going to have a heydey with this, isn't he?
SirAlexTheFirst: Main difference being that Bandon is a porno cleric.
AndrewRogue: That calls out for a PrC. It really does.
SirAlexTheFirst: There already are some.
AndrewRogue: Oh yeah.
SirAlexTheFirst: *sigh*
AndrewRogue: ...?
SirAlexTheFirst: And here I thought I could run a campaign without sex.
AndrewRogue: Between Gil, Beth and Kirk that prospect died quick.
SirAlexTheFirst: Yep.
SirAlexTheFirst: Ah well.
SirAlexTheFirst: So.
SirAlexTheFirst: To sleep, or not to sleep. That is the question.
AndrewRogue: That is a toughy. I think I need to sleep. I'm seriously dead tired now.
SirAlexTheFirst: Sleep, then. Dream well.
AndrewRogue: Heeey, have you read the Hellsing manga?
SirAlexTheFirst: Yes, what I could find of it.
AndrewRogue: What did you think? I actually picked up the first two volumes of it today.
SirAlexTheFirst: It's... heh. Better than the other manga I've read, but that's not saying much.
SirAlexTheFirst: Very different from the anime.
AndrewRogue: *chuckles* I sort of like it. It has a charm to it. But yeah. Way different.
SirAlexTheFirst: Has the same seriousness rarely but is generally much, much more lighthearted in twisted sorts of ways.
AndrewRogue: Oh yeah.
AndrewRogue: And while I'm thinking... Shining Soul 1, 2, Front Mission 4 or Hellsing Box Set for my bext purchase?
SirAlexTheFirst: o_O
AndrewRogue: <_<
SirAlexTheFirst: Out of those?
AndrewRogue: They're at the front of my mind. Theirs other stuff, but then again, there's always other stuff :p
SirAlexTheFirst: I'd take Hellsing. The DVDs are supposed to be excellent, and it comes with an action figure/Hellsing patch, which is kinda geeky but really cool.
AndrewRogue: Hmm... what's the date today?
SirAlexTheFirst: Tuesday June 22
AndrewRogue: Oh... I can get it for about $70 w/ free shipping...
SirAlexTheFirst: FM4 seems to be a good game, but... there's a horde of other strategy games out there.
SirAlexTheFirst: I mean, you could just play, say, Starcraft. >_>
AndrewRogue: Yay SC ^_^
AndrewRogue: *kicks Alex for getting him hooked*
SirAlexTheFirst: *cheerfully is kicked*
AndrewRogue: I wonder if my neighbor will miss his disc <_<
AndrewRogue: Prolly. Plus that would be mean ^_^
SirAlexTheFirst: ....
AndrewRogue: I kid. I just need to sort out belongings and return them to people.
SirAlexTheFirst: Haaa
AndrewRogue: But anyway, away to bed with me! Sleep beckons and I wish to answer it for some reason!
AndrewRogue: And Alex... thank you for sharing.
SirAlexTheFirst: Sleep well.
SirAlexTheFirst: WAIT
SirAlexTheFirst: WAIIIt
SirAlexTheFirst: I can't log!
SirAlexTheFirst: I disced a lot!
