For a very limited time I am offering an Introductory Package to those of you who would like to try out the process before taking on the larger commitment of producing a full autobiography

I am charging only $100 for this package, well below the market rate for this type of work. This fee may or may not cover my basic costs. It should however, get you started writing Your Personal History and give you the opportunity to find out if this is something you would like continue.

It will also give me the opportunity to beta test the methodology I have developed. I would like to be completed with each project approximately three months after the start.

I am in the Denver area but that is not a problem. With the technology available, the obstacles of distance no longer prevent us from working together. I'd love to get my money's worth on this "free long distance" cell phone plan I have.

This Basic Introductory Package Includes:

10 hours of taped media

Transcription of recorded interviews

1st draft hard copy

One full edit/revision of each recorded session

One final revision of each recorded session

One scanned image or digital photo for every two hours of tape

Note: Tapes will become the property of the participant at the end of the project

Typed renditions of original letters, diaries, writings, or other important personal documents could be exchanged for taped transcriptions

The Final project will include:

One hard copy of the final "as approved" version

One electronic copy on CD

Pages will be unbound unless other arrangements have been made and defined in the agreed on Scope of the project

In Return I would like to have:

Permission to use the final work, in part or in whole, as a presentation sales tool. Names and locations would be changed/deleted

Right of refusal of co-author acknowledgement if the participant or a third party chooses to publish the work, in part or in whole, at a later date

Permission to use excerpts, without names or specific locations, in future writing projects

Miscellaneous costs that would have to be negotiated on an individual basis include:

Travel

Shipping and mailing

Photo reproduction costs
