The Mouse Club of WA is for people interested in having social events and shows for their mice.
We hope to one day be a fully fledged group, with regular shows and competitions for our mice.
Prizes (such as certificates and ribbons) are planned for the best mice in each section, with prize funding from raffles and competition entry fees.
There was already an existing club (west oz mouse club), but there have not been any members for a while and the club no longer has any existing structure.
We chose to start afresh with a new name and identity, existing separately from the West Oz rat club and the Australian rodent fanciers Society.
Being a member of the Mouse Club of WA means you get discounted entry costs for any mice you choose to exhibit in either pet or show quality sections. You also get sent newsletters or email publications � depending on the contact type you choose- The publication will comprise of updates from breeders in the area, new litters available, as well as any issues that need to be brought up such as mouse health and other mouse related news. You will receive invitations to closed private shows that are not open to public. Closed shows will be at a private location, designed for members to get to know each other and their mice. Private shows will also have various breeders showing young mice that are available or will soon be for sale to mouse club members only.
