After
3 miscarriages and a healthy daughter, I learned I was
pregnant with twins. At 4 1/2 months my joy turned to
horror when I learned that one of the babies had
anencephaly. I was able to carry to 32 weeks before
complications forced a premature delivery. Anthony lived for
about 90 minutes. His twin, Alex was fairly healthy for a
preemie and was released from the hospital just before he
was 1 month old. We have subsequently had another healthy
son born march 31, 2000.
