Emily
was our second child. We opted against an AFP test, and
because of a change in obstetric practices (the best thing
I ever did) we didn't have an ultrasound until 22 weeks.
The diagnosis was a total shock. I appreciated all the
support and information I found online. Emily was born at
42 1/2 weeks and lived for two precious hours after her
birth. She died a little after one in the morning on
7/20/2000. She is missed by myself, her father, and her
big brother. |
