I
was 20 when Jennifer was born and ultrasound and AFP
test were a thing of the future. Therefore, her problem
was not discovered until about 6 hours prior to her
birth. I went on to have 3 other children, one of whom
died when he was 4 years old and I had another
miscarriage at 16 weeks in 1976. I currently have 3
living children, 2 foster children, 3 deceased children,
2 grandchildren and
an assortment of God and foster children who call me
"Mommy."
I
spend my time now trying to educate women of
childbearing years about the advantages of folic acid in
their diets and I am also a LPN, something I became
after the loss of my daughters,
Jennifer and Victoria. |
