| About me: My name is Chris Jackson. I have had horses for over 12 years. My wife grew up with them. We did trail rides, team penning and rode around the farm. Then, in the Fall of 1996, I attended a small Civil War re-enactment. Even though I didn't go planning to participate, I ended up on an artillery crew and enjoyed it very much. The only problem was that I saw the Cavalry guys and knew where I belonged. I joined Phillips Legion which consists of artillery, infantry and mounted infantry. Our members are mostly south of Atlanta in the central Georgia region. At the 1st event that I attended, everything that me and my horse were wearing, was borrowed. This is a hobby that my whole family attends and participates in. My oldest son is our bugular. |
