Spring 2007 Concerts and Life

Well, it's been a few months since I last sent out something to everybody. It was probably about buying my awesome #1 totally super cool truck. I sold it to some guy in Princeton, NJ who will be shipping it to Guatemala to be a farm vehicle. Good thing the Navy spent $3500 shipping it to Jersey so that I could sell it to farmers in Guatemala..... I'm glad that I'm rid of it though as the oil companies rape us for over $3/gallon. I'm shocked that the price of gas spiked over Memorial Day weekend. I would have never predicted that in a million years.... In realted news, Exxon CEO Lee Raymond received a $400 million retirement package in 2006 while Exxon's profits were a measly, record-breaking $39.5 billion in 2006. I should have bought stock in Exxon/Satan/Shell.

I've been to a bunch of kick-ass concerts over the last few months. A few videos are up on my page. I've seen I Adapt, The Foghorns, Anti-Flag, Flogging Molly, My Chemical Romance, Rise Against, Dropkick Murphys, Street Dogs, Reverend Horton Heat, Set Your Goals, Big D and the Kids Table, The Briggs, The Tossers, Murder By Death, Scythian, & Deadly Sins. I met most of these bands and got autographs and whatnot. I also saw Jello Biafra speak about current events and politics in Trenton, NJ. Check out the pics. This summer will be the Warped Tour in scenic Camden, NJ!

Back in March Robert, Jason, and I went to the Shamrock Festival in Washington DC. We saw Flogging Molly, Street Dogs, Scythian, and others as we drank free beer. We also headed to DC to check out the sights, including the new World War II memorial and FDR memorial. FDR's memorial is full of great quotes and worth checking out.

I've also been to New York a lot because New York City is the best city in America. Matt and I have wandered the city and I have seen a few Broadway shows. Gunna and I spent a couple days there in May before I graduated from the University of Maryland.
