310g / 10 ½ oz / 1 ½ cups raw chick peas Tahina sauce ingredients: 125 g / ¼ lb / ½ cup firm, non oily tahina 2 tablespoons lemon juice a little crushed garlic (optional) a little water. Combine all the Tahina ingredients
in a food processor or blender. Thin to the desired consistency with water. Soak the chick peas
overnight. Cook for 1 ½ - 2 hours or until very tender. Mash the cooked chick
peas and add the Tahina sauce.
Cut Mountain Bread into triangles and fry until golden or
bake until crisps and serve with the dip. |
